Hmm very intresting, I could imagine this uses some .net programing to work. I wonder how fast it is.

I like the idea... but the applications are less... visible. It looks really cool, but if you work time sensitively and NEED to fax out a report in ten minutes to meet a deadline, you don't want to flip through "Tidy Piles" to find the word document...

I agree with Spence and Ched. As fucking cool as this is, the current Windows-style desktop is much more navigable. If nothing else, filenames will be completely unreadable if the files are scattered everywhere.
The idea's fantastic, but it needs a lot more thought and a lot more user-friendliness.
Besides, I'd be forever fucking around with chucking documents and folding them to actually get anything done

as I've said, it needs some work, probably show a tooltip with the doc's title. So far it looks more like an addon to Windows, to replace the dull explorer more than a great shell.
