Quite simple, someone posts a song lyric, then people try to guess the name of the song and the artist. The person who guesses correctly posts new lyrics.

"And the three men I admire most, the father son and the holy ghost"

A bit too religious for my liking, but

Madonna - American Pie.

Let's have another easy one:

"You give love a bad name."

It was actually Don Mclean but whatever. The original versions are always better!

Title same as the quote, by Bon Jovi

Try this:
"They sang to me this song of hope"

Soul 2.4

Background process. Has something to do with some activity going on somewhere. Sorting junkmail, I think. No value or interest. Doesn't do much except hog resource.

"silent night for the rest of my life"

Billy Talent's Devil In A Midnight Mass.

"Proud enough for you to call me arrogant
Greedy enough to be labeled a thief
Angry enough for me to go and hurt a man
Cruel enough for me to feel no grief"

Dream Theater - The Root of All Evil.

"It's Over, It's Finished
I am dead inside
I'm not gonna feel anymore
I am dead
Please bury me
I am dead..."

Let's make it a toughie now :)

Mortal Love - Existence

"I lived in that town of despair for as long as I can remember
Desperately searching for release there finding nothing but sadness
“Run away,” I said to myself, “Get out of that hell”
And so I left and I wonder what comes next"

Orphonic's Homeland.

"Polarize me
Sensitize me
Criticize me
Civilize me
Compensate me
Animate me
Complicate me
Elevate me"

Rush - Animate

To be the harlequin who shines in dead gold
To kill those idle thoughts about this stronghold
See the evening star in this sunset glow
Sailing the splendour ships straight on the port bow

"But I'm bleeding, and my hands are bruised
From the grip that I once had on you
And I'm open for a new way
Because there's not much more that I can fake"

Shinedown - Fake?

"Manipulate the slime
and assume supreme control of the mind
The smallest particles of existence
can become the fallen curtains for us all
The show is over for the slug
The next realm has just begun
Sovereign parasites
Flawless domination
Zombie phenomenon has just begun
Fluorescent and pulsing
This is the destiny of the slug"

Circle Of Dead Children - Destiny Of The Slug

"I'm looking at you through the glass
Don't know how much time has passed
Oh God it feels like forever
But no one ever tells you that forever
Feels like I'm sitting all alone inside your head"

Stone Sour - Through Glass

"Walls are closing
Anxiously
Channel surfing
Frantically

Burning City
Smoke and fire
Planes we're certain
Faith inspired

No clues
A complete suprise
Who'll be
Coming home tonight"

Dream Theater - Octavariu

-----------------------

HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN

HE WENT TO ART SCHOOL WHEN HE WAS YOUNGER
HE WANTED TO BE A PAINTER
HITLER WAS A VEGETARIAN
HE WAS ALSO A NON SMOKER

HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN

HE HIRED GAY AND HANDICAPPED OFFICERS
HE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT OVERPOPULATION
IF HITLER WAS ALIVE TODAY
HE'D LISTENED TO THE CURE, THE SMITHS, AND DEPECHE MODE

HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN
HITLER WAS A SENSITIVE MAN

Anal Cunt - Hitler Was A Sensitive Man

We fought your wars with all our hearts,
You sent us back in body parts,
You took our wills with the truth you stole,
We offer prayers for your long lost soul.

The remainder is,
An unjustifiable, egotistical, power struggle,
At the expense of the American Dream,
Of the American dream, of the American, of the American.

System of a Down - American Dream Denial

* * *

Vater unser im Himmel
geheiligt werde dein Name
dein Reich komme
dein Wille geschehe

Wie im Himmel so auch auf Erden
und vergib uns unsere Gott Schuld
und führe uns nicht in Versuchung
sondern erlöse uns von all dem Bösen

The holy father prayer in German..

Walk with me my little child,
To the forest of denial,
Speak with me my only mind,
Walk with me until the time,
And make the forest turn to wine,
You take the legend for a fall,
You saw the product,

Why can't you see that you are my child,
Why don't you know that you are my mind,
Tell everyone in the world, that I'm you,
Take this promise to the end of you.

No fuel left for the pilgrims
