But here is an interesting scientist named Carl Baugh who I've read a book of his and own a video tape. And it explains in great depth how science and creationism go hand in hand. And that creationism scienctifically coincides with science in the exact fashion as the bible states.
If you ever heard him speak, you'll know right away he is no crackpot. He uses indepth science and many sources made by other scientists who also entertain the thought of both sides being correct. I really enjoyed his work and you would also if you are a science junky. He gets really into the explanations.
one page on his site to get started He's not a one man team nor has he allowed divinity to overrule normal science laws. He shows how each strongly reinforces the other. He helped me come to a consensus within myself. There is a balance vs what "religion divinely answers based on what science can't" and also "what science rejects simply because they can't answer the why or how fully"
One of the largest gaps between S and R is how can religion claim the earth is only 5k years old when S can show evidence that it isn't. In summary he describes in the book of genesus how when God saw the corupt evil in the world that he "stretch" the heavens. Then he shows through time/space warping how this would actually make something appear to be older than it actually is if the universe was expanded rapidly.
I can't quite explain it like some astrophysist so I'll leave it to the experts. His site is interesting, though he does keep most of the complex science from the site. I wish he didn't, he saves that for his books and videos.

the tapes were made in conjunction w/some religious network. i think it's w/ kenneth copelands media co.
every time baugh was making a logical factual comment , that fucking uber religious atomaton would interupt him, and chime in with his crazy rhetoric.
aggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it was driving me nuts. you could see in dr. baughs eyes , that he wanted to steak him like a vampire......but he did'nt(much to my violent dismay). anyway , let me wrap up this long-winded reply.
i'm open minded....always have been, dont judge anyone(although i may not always come across that way......hey! everyone gets pissed off from time to time...right! ). check this guys books, videos.dvds out man . athiests...... chalk it up to , THINGs THAT MAKE YOU SAY HMMMM?????
