Here's a little preview shot of it...still not finished...the comm tower part (it looks like a oil rig's tower) is still confusing me...My best guess would be to make it out of several planes with transparent textures, but I haven't done that before, so I'm a bit skeptical....

If anyone has anny suggestion on how it can be improved, shoot....

Allso, in this folder are pics of many SF things I did for various other games...
If you think anone of them would look good in generals just say so... I have lover poly version of most of them, so I can do these pretty fast...

1. Must the models be triangulated?

2. Can I use the attach funcion in 3DMax (Does the game engine make problems with intersecting polygons?)

3. Where can I find that cool mod that addds tons of air units, battleship, toxin troopers, black market nuke, and other neat stuff???

ProGen at DEEZIRE.NET has alot of wht you are looking for. What what you'vse asked it seems plain old Zeho Hour has alot that stuuf also. Do you have it?

Nope, I don't have Zero Hour....never had...

I remember I played a mod before with the following units:
battleship, A-10, spy, toxin trooper, toxin plane, gla airfield, Aurora MK2, (and more units, but I can't remeber...)

Then I read there is a new mod with all those units mentioned above and many more air units (MIG's for the GLA, several SU's for the China, and America had B1, B2, and several others)

I just remember what the MOD was - AirfoceModv1.2!!!

I tried downloading it several times, but it allways turns out to be a bad or corrupted file (can't unzip...agrh...)

anyway, I found a few more ship I'll try to di: the Kiev, the Tbilsi, Kirov and maby Nanuchka...

The russians have some really god looking ships... :)

Maby I'll do a few american..Spruance, Arhileg Burke, Ticonderoga....

I have a big fat book with all the warship classes in the world! :tocol:

You're not going to have much fun with those. Engine can't handle moving creation points, so no aircraft carriers. Helicopter pads are possible but the helicopters (did this on a model of mine) are spawned as drones, however, they won't be able to dock with the ship.

As for weaponry, the game won't fire half of the armaments due to conflicts with weapons having the same primary targets (land vehicles, subs and ships are the same). Remember, without drones, you can only have 3 weapons too.

I never tough of putting in all the weapons.... And I do admitt that the carriers were a bad idea...so scrap the Tbilsi..possibly the Kiev too...

But just how many weapons can be put on a singe unit?

For the Iowa I planned 3x3 406mm gun turrets, 1 multi-purpose missile launcher and 2 gatling guns..

You can have three weapons - which is good for that use as weapons can fire from multiple barrels too. I.e one weapon for all the turrets, 1 for the missile system and one for the gattlings :)

You mean 3x3 turrets would be ONE weapon? (PRIMARY)
Two Phalanax cannons would be SECONDARY and the missile launcher would be TERTIARY?

You sure it can be done that way?

A response would be nice...anyway...

I am trying to create the Delat Force commandos...
- apperance (burton model, but re-skinned, or a ew one)
- cost 1000
- build time 30
- 220-250 hp
- has BodyArmour (like normal human armour, but more resistant against most damages)
weapons: OCIW(or x-8)
PRIMARY MODE: fast-fire 5.56mm bullets. large clip
SECONDARY MODE: armour piercing granades (like flashbang, only anti-veichle)

is stealthy like burton
can climb hills like burton
can use knife like burton
can set up a charge like burton (just one...either normal or remote...not sure yet)

POSSIBLE UPGREADES (just one can be chosen, and it replaces the OCIW as the weapon)
- M-405 granade launcher (high-tech AP granade launcher... ..unit is more powerfull against buildings and veichles, but uses a pistol against infantry)

- GAU-25 (chaingun...very fast fire rate, and a big primary damage radius..real infantry killer...especially in large groups..BIG clip, slow re-load)
