my target:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth \lotrbfme.exe" -mod "C:\Mod"
Shouldn't it be:
"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Battle for Middle-earth \lotrbfme.exe" -mod MyHeroMod.big"
Then stick your "MyHeroMod.big" into the "My Battle for Middle-earth Files" folder in Application Data. Assuming this is BFME 1. If it's bfme2 then I'm probably messing you up as I think it is done differently.
I think you are over complicating things Azrael. To get the mod to run you don't have to do anything other than: 1) put your new .big in "My Battle for Middle-earth Files" 2) Create new shortcut with target as above 3) click on shortcut to run
EDIT: lol, just read your post DLotS...I missed it the first time.
