Been a while since the last update, that’s mainly because I haven’t really been in the mood to work on any WW2 stuff. After a trip to the Imperial War Museum & playing though Blitzkrieg I felt a bit more inspired tho, anyway here are the results.

A12 Matilda II
Posted Image

FV4007 Centurion Mk.3
Posted Image

Hurricane Mk.I
Posted Image

Pzkfw I Ausf.B
Posted Image

Pzkfw III Ausf.H
Posted Image

Next up will probably be the Jagdpanzer I & Stug III seeing as I now have the hulls to make the conversions on, the Hurricane Mk.IID just needs a few bits & it’s done too.

@ Jeeves:
I haven’t split the Pzkfw I’s turret from the hull yet.

@ AG:
That SCUD would have so pwned, shame it was first used in 1956 so it’s a year too late for D-day

@ wilmet:
I live about a 30min tube ride away from the Imperial War Museum. If I had a laptop I would go there to do my modding, what could be better then to make a vxl of a tank when your standing next to the real one!

@ rami:
To save time I copy & pasted the turret from the Pzkfw IV on to the Pzkfw III & modified it to what I needed, they use the same turret so it should be fine... It looked ok when I compared it to the template as well, now look what you done I’m all worried about it :p now I have to go double check it.

that PZ3's turret seems a little bit too high over the hull and the whole tank seems a little fat and cute
anyway I've never got a chance to see a PZ3, lucky you are!

Um, Turretoffset can accept xy coordinate lists. So you could have say Turretoffset=80,40. That will help you align that tank's turret correctly. IIRC, it can and will rotate the fire animation correctly around the turret axis with the FLH, but I don't know if twin barrels will fire their weapons right like that...

Thx for reminding me but I haven’t split it yet cos it’s not a main unit in D-day so I’m not in a rush to finish it off.

Yes, but did infantry tanks really wear cavalry stripes? That had kinda been bugging me with the whole but-they're-not-cavalry thing...
I kinda lost my expertise before the British started classifying infantry tanks

And for some scary reason I know more about French tank markings...

eh... that was a bit random.

Infantry tanks replaced the cavalry in the support role & where used in the cavalry units so they got cavalry stripes

then who was replaced by cruise tanks?
cavalrys didn't play the role of those big heavy slow infantry tanks, did they?
at least Russians think their fast tanks "new cavalrys" and assigned them to former cavalry commanders.
I don't know much of these, plz
