Currently typing from New York moving up to Canada on a Carnival cruise ship. Just wanted to tell y'all I can't really check anything due to time restrictions, but I'll be popping in every so often to check things out. I've got 49 miniutes left for the next few days until I'm arsed to buy more miniutes, but for now it should suffice.

So, expect a very out of touch verse leader when I'm back on Thursday. ;)

Though I can be on MSN from time to time thanks to the fact Carnival has it on their ships. So, I'll keep in touch for short periods of time then.

See ya sometime later, guys. ;)

You lucky bastard. Going on your little party cruises... *grumble grumble* Well, have fun, I hope you don't go Titanic! *schemes a large iceberg moving scheme*

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.
Razgriz intrerpretation

Isn't the point of a cruise ship normally to go south, as opposed to further north?
I've had enough of the terrible hot weather here... it's like 95 degrees and I've had the air conditioner running overtime constantly... I can just feel the electric bill... It pretty much sucks more up this way, you might want to turn the boat around and go down to Bermuda or something. The water's even still cold here... I feel like I'm off the North Sea or something...

Why Canada sucks in the summer (Even though I like Canada):
1. It's really hot... reaaaaaally hot, and there are no cooling Canadian currents from the north... because you're in the north.
2. Hudson Bay is still frozen.
3. You're about six miles from North Pole.

Don't think it's that bad myself. Same as here. A bit warm but nothing major.

Southern Ontario, Canada: Extremely, almost unbearably hot in the summer.

Luckily, im in Newfoundland at the moment where it is often a nice 24 degrees celsius high.

(posted from Ireland)

They say it's going to be like 40 degrees Celsius in the Netherlands later in the week (when I'll be back home). Yikes..

At times like that (I think the record I can remember is like 38 degrees here) I'm so glad we have a farm and swimming pool.

It's 38 degrees C in Washington DC today. A good portion of the US in the 38 degree C range.
It's finally cooling off abit now the aternoon is coming to a close. I drove to the store, by the time I took my keys out they actually burned my hand. (not literally but felt like it)

It's actually really cold at night in the desert, even in the summer.

35 degrees is nothing. When I go to Palm Springs it'll be 110 Farenheit, which is about 45 Celcius. Fun, and then Las Vegas will be about 105. Thank god for air conditioning.

In countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia its not freezing cold at night. The middle east doesn't have to mean desert.

Its not usualy freezing cold in summer, because the ground is so warm from the day it keeps the air near the ground very warm away from the cooling effect.
