I've addressed mainly the army size and performance problems along with some other slight fixes.

In addition I got a crash myself which wasn't directly AI related. Since 1.7 doesn't seem to cause the crash according to Blodo, I have the strong feeling that this might be related to the inclusion of the new patch 1.5 abilities. Therefore if anyone who is willing to test can reliable reproduce the crash (Blodo!? :) ), it would be very important to try to exclude chaos and/or IG and check if the crash still occurs. I think IG and Chaos are the only ones with new abilities, so that should be enough to check this theory.

I've sent the new build to Thudo and he'll upload it soon to our beta center. For access rights, Thudo is the man to ask.

Hmm.. u got a crash? What factions were present during the crash? I do a crash here and there but its VERY rare and never AI related (at least according to AI_Log.txt).

I'll submit the new build tonight..

As I said I can try and reproduce, though it seriously seems very random. To add to the confusion, I just had a game which I played entirely without a crash.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

Was it a different map then the other which crashed? Try to find a pattern - which maps or factions you play..

What factions were present during the crash?

All factions in testing grounds.

It would be helpfull of you try 2 - 3 games with only orks, SM and eldar present. If the game crashes, it has nothing to do with the new abilities, if it doesn't crash, we have the prove and can at least avoid the problem.

strange i never get any crashes, i guess that because i reinstalled my game a week ago. Maybe some of you guys have tampered with some files that may cause crashes for you =/

I reinstalled the game 4 times in total. The last reinstall placed it on a different partition just to check if it wasn't the poor defragmentation of the other one doing the work. It's definatly not bad files.

thudo: I was playing on 4p_Quatra, being SM. There was Chaos, Orks and Eldar on the map. I was playing on 4p_Quatra three times before two of which crashed.

Okie.. please try the -dev with the autoexec.lua (explained in the other thread) which will allow you to have all AI battles (no human players). I need to know if you get crashes that way. Obviously, this is real nuts as something between 1.50 game code and 1.8 AI update is causing this. You tried our older v1.75 with the 1.50 game code and it presents NO crashes.

Also.. please try all the same race games (ie. 4player all SM or 4player IG races) and see if they all crash. Just play the same races in a game. Note which crashes or not.

After I uninstalled and reinstalled 1.75 for a little bit, it did crash once. I had it installed for a moment on 1.41 before 1.5 came out and no crashes, so it's most likely the 1.5 patch not liking the AI mod. Relic did change a lot of the files.

I will post later on when I try the all AI battles.
