nice work loving the citadel guards. bu i have question. is the chest armor taken from CaH or from another picture? somehow it looks like the CaH's to me.

That's a very good question...I think it's half CaH or something, I don't remember right now. I mean half because you're right, the gold part on the bottom's really CaH, i'll check it later...but I love my actor choice for Beregond. It took me forever to choose him

Anyways CaH or not, Celeglin said it was cool to use CaH as long as the whole thing's not fully made from CaH stuffs. As long as it works out.

Edit: Just realized it's not, the yellowish gold thingy is from the picture itself, it's from Alleycatscratch, type in Gondorian 3rd Age armor and you'll see it. Cut it in half, duplicate then flip it

Yup! Anyways, I've finally suceeded in almost completing my Variags of Khand. They're Russian, ignore the shield and sword, i'll fix those later.

BTW there will be two variations of the Variag in each troop, one with russian hats, one with no russian hat xD

yeah they look fine. i just think your work generally needs more colour.

i wonder if there are people like the chinese, spanish or arabs in middle-earth?

hmm Nertea said that I should give them a more tundra look by using whites and grays. It helped me out a bunch, I was gonna do light blue, red and gold from russian paintings I saw o.o anyways if you're talking about the shield then I guess you're right. Need more color on th shield.

The easterlings from the movie have tengwar mixed with arab script on the cloth. The corsairs from the movie have a very asian chinese look to them. Maybe i'm stupid or something. Aboot the spanish...well...who needs them inquisitors. o.o
