Ok, here is the finished product ;)

The Minas Morgul Walls and Elevator models:

Now for some notes:
-2500 Poly count for the main wall, less for the elevator
-Skins originally made by Celeglin, edited by me
-Thanks to Nertea for showing me how to set up the glows

I haven't yet fully coded the walls in-game, so while they do show up, the geometry isn't correct yet, and I haven't tried getting troops to walk on the walls either. So I don't know for sure if that archway will work or not... I assume that will be a geometry thing to work on though.

Next I'll be making the Morgul gate, should be fun (and frustrating :rolleyes:).

Nice work gothmog but theres a small problem withit ingame the walls are not really connected.
Does the glow type thing on the model actually move?

lol, the walls don't touch cause it was a 30 second job in WB :) I just wanted to see what the walls would look like next to each other.

Yes, there are actually two layers of the glow, one light green and one darker green, both moving opposite directions. They move slowly enough that unless you look right at them for a few seconds you won't notice it, but when you realize that they move it looks much cooler.

Poly Count: wow, just looked it up... 4034 polys. Last time I checked it was 3300... hmm. I wonder if the glows really account for that many. ;)


Now for a question:
-How do I set up new geometries? Because right now the orcs can walk through the entire gate model and the wall "juts". My understanding is that it is controlled by code, but I don't know how to get the right XYZ ect settings.
