havent posted a question in a while, and im curious as to what will happen in regards to this but when the Rise Of The Witch-King is released, how do we go about utilising and adding the new content into our current mods.

sometimes an expansion pack will install to an entirely new folder which means the way we run our mods now will make them not work since the expansion will be running from a new folder etc. i hope then that the exp. will install to the main directory so that files are easier to access.

also, will the process of adding the expansion just like what we do when a new patch comes out? by simple updating the code or will it be more complicated?

Here is how I see it: Our TC mods will probably keep going like they were, cause there will be no HUUUGGGE changes that will kill them. However, a good deal of the LOTR based mods (like Visions or FoS) will have to redo a bit of there work. We will have to update our files, but we will probably treat it like an Uber Patch. Just my Guess at the future

After browing several BFME related sites it seems that no-one is interested in this expansion, unless they do more than adding one faction and a few new units

Take a close look at the screenshot of the summoned wolf. Who is attacking it? NUMENORIAN soldiers and archers, meaning were likely to also see an Arnor faction.

My guess is that EA can't be that stupid...they're just using the Numenoreans as placeholders before they cook up a crappy 64x64 arnorian skin.

Will a new Bfme2: The Rise Of The Witch King modding sub-forum open up when the game comes out?

I dont think so. I DOUBT they are making any changes to the engine, so all coding stuff will be seriously related.

lets assume its just that addition of new code. screenshots certainly dont appear to be graphically enhanced. having a new section in a way doesnt make sense because the expansion from the sounds of it isnt adding massive amounts of changes. and since the original game will be required to run the game and that that code is required to run patches and expansions id say this forum should be all thats necessary. just my thoughts.
