Suttenly when i start my game i get the loading screen u normally get, then i get my desktop 800x600 and then i get an black screen and i get pointed back to my desktop with no warning or error. And NOTHING in my errorlog. Pandealose, Phoenix and me been lookin for this loooong time and wasted many time on this.

Does anyone have an idea how this can happen or how to fix it?

-Ive reinstalled the game 22 Times now but no result.
-I turned of all antivirus and reinstalled Zero hour but no result.
-It doesnt has any thing to do with regedit at all because i cleaned my regedit 2 times and did a clean zero hour install but no result.

Anyone? :glare:

I wanted to make stuff for Contra/Remix and had great Suggestions and Ideas and me brother is real good at moderating stuff but now i cant do anything cuz my Zero Hour doesnt work anymore.

Does your normal Zero Hour start without that?
The only thing I had was that I got the loading screen and then it changed to the second version of it and it got stuck! But I restarted and it worked fine

In crash log in my documents it says :

Release Crash at Mon Jul 31 12:33:32 2006
; Reason Error parsing INI file 'Data\INI\Object\airforcegeneral.ini' (Line: 'Object AirF_AmericaTankAvenger ')

It has to do with the crashing to desktop i believe cuz i installed zero hour again and i tryed to start it up at 12:33 at that time below.

Anyone knows what this is? No, i dont have any mods installed.

if that crash log is current then it would mean you have a mod installed somewhere accedently. with all your zerohour uninstalls have you been uninstalling regular generals too?

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Here is what i did last time that happened to me.
uninstall zero hour
uninstall generals
If u accidently installed a mod the uninstaller will not delete it so delete it by ur self.
after u uninstall generals and zero hour there shouldnt be a command and conquer generals/zero hour folder where the game used to be installed(i dont really know the name of the folder. u should know it.)
after all this try installing the game another place(another folder or something)
This worked for my zero hour
the probelm with my was i had a mod in generals(not zero hour) that i could not play so it screwed up the whole thing.
I dont know if will work 4 u
did u buy the game or download it?
downloaded ones sometimes go wrong
