Is it possible to run Remix with Mod Toaster?
Or just a quick& easy way to switch running two different mods?
I only really play Contra and Shockwave.

Also, where is DatGen.exe?
I read throught the FAQ and it said that'll stop this bug Im having...

Modtoaster is not yet supported. After I finish Remix3 I will be looking into Mod toaster.

If you know how to setup the files and all that good stuff then your welcome to it, but as I've stated many many times, I do not yet support mod toaster.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Datgen should be an exacutable sitting in your zerohour root install folder.

As for multiple mods, I would recomend one of 2 ways....

1. Hand move the files as needed. For many mods, like Contra and Remix this is only 3 files and is painless.

2. If you have a mod that isn't neatly packaged in a .big file then have a clean install of ZeroHour, then COPY it to the side in another folder. Then install your mod and play. When you want a different mod, rename the zerohour folder, then COPY the clean install back to the correct zerohour name and install the new mod. Every time you you want to change mods just rename the correct folder to the install name.

3. SOME mods can be placed in the ZeroHour folder under my documents. for these you can run the game with a -mod added to the command line. If you run the mod this way you will still have to change the csf and scb files by hand, but its not too hard either. In a few cases (if there are no extra file changes) you can just run each mod from a seperate shortcut. ALSO, if your feeling 1337 and you don't want to keep changing the .csf and .scb files you COULD add them to the .big files themselves, and just be sure to move the original zerohour files into thier own .big then delete them from the original folders. Keep in mind I only recomend screwing with the original files if you REALY know what your doing.

1. Remix requires Contra, right? ^.^;;
2. No prob there...
3. Isnt Remix a .scb though? ._.

Also, isnt the download version of Contra004 an .exe? How would you shuffle the files around then?

ALSO
I cant find DatGen.
I looked on Disk1, Zero Hour directory, General's Directory, and the files in My Documents

Remix doesn't require Contra, Remix is standalone, it's another mod, don't mix remix and contra!
You can download remix 2.75, who you install it is written here! That's it then

Yeah, thers a sticky called Released Versions. DO NOT install Remix2.75 and Contra at the same time. It will crash.

If you need any install help with Remix2.75 just read around on the forum. I've explained it about 200 times in various topics. If you need any other help just ask Pheonix or Cpt Drake.
