Focused on infantry in the beginning, cavalry late game. Makes good use of heroes.
Mordor
Relies on a large number of quickly spawnable units in the beginning, but goes to fearsome monster and engines later on.
Elves
Elven units are strong, but expensive. They have many stealthed units and are good at surprise attacks. Has many heroes.
Isengard
This is an all-round faction.
Goblins
Like Mordor, but weaker and faster.
Dwarves
They have strong units and strong buildings, but their units move very slowly.
