I'm going to jump in right away and sound a bit harsh.
  • A free forum is not a website. (minor)
  • You may want to show some examples of work if you want to attract attention.
  • There's this little thing called intellectual property law that forbids and prevents you from making anything involving 'Final Fantasy' (major)

Making a 'Final Fantasy' based mod is very likely to end with a cease and desist order, forcing you to cease work and possibly causing you no end of other trouble - it's a subject I've seemed to be needing to touch a lot in here recently. Square Enix are notorious for issuing such orders, and they're usually prompt and harsh. I'd recommend not wasting any further time on a such a venture with inevitable consequences.

I have seen many FF mods in alot of different games.
http://mods.moddb.co...y-battle-arena/
http://mods.moddb.co...ject-nibelheim/
http://planeteldersc...w...tail&id=694
http://planeteldersc...ge.php?id=18527
and much more
I never said that our forum was a website, would it matter anyways?

We cant show examples of models and skins and such. Thats why we are recruiting so we can get it.

Were not going to stop making the mod untill Square Enix tells us to stop.

Bah, I think you're gonna stop once you realise that you can't mod, and nobody joins you because of that.

If you can mod what is stopping you from working onit? Im sorry to say it but if you cannot mod i dont think the mod will be made. And people rarely help a mod where the leaders cannot mod themselfs.

i understand that you immediately want to make a great and fantastic mod, but since you are new to modding (i'm assuming that from your post count, do correct me if i'm wrong) you should start out simple. you know, increase some HP, copy some abilities, etc. start easy and then move on to the harder parts (or start with the harder parts but make many many mistakes on the way)

Feanor alot of people like Final Fantasy (im not really one of them :p ) but people do. Im sure it could be a mod but it just needs a mod leader who can actually mod.

I am the mod leader of Final Fantasy A New Age Iciris is my co-leader. I assure you i can mod i do ini coding and ive been working almost every hour ive been awake for the past week or so on the mod. I used to do Comand and Conquer Generals and Zero Hour and now im doing this so far ive made the whole menu system which includes seperate menus for abilities suck as limit breaks, magic, summons for the heroes who can summonm the inventory menu which includes equipable armor, an item menu with various items such as potions, high potions, ethers, or whatever else we may use. Ive been helping Iciris with many of the scripts for mapping which he does. Now ive been working with the particle system for the magic but i need a modeler and animator so i can try making some of the abilities. Ive also taken a look at the create a hero system and done a couple tests to see how difficult it would be to redo it for our purposes and it doesnt seem to be to difficult to work with.
Im also a huge fan of final fantasy and have played and beaten all but a few of the gameboy games, so i know all we need to for that.

so i assure you i can mod, this mod is alive and and we wont stop till square enix tells us to.

we need a staff to help get this mod done.

If you have all this new stuff coded then why not get Proof? some screenshots would do.
I also see your forums are not very active... someone is requesting to join and no one has botherd to reply.

I diddnt wnat to take screen shots without any new models in-game. the forums are dead because no one believes this mod is actually going. as for the the one in the join me forum we talked to him on xfire already.

It doesnt matter what model ur currently using aslong as you say something like: it will be replaced.
Its proof and something to show that the mod is alive.

i guess you have point there. Ill see if i can get some screen shots of some of the menu system and maybe the shop for buying armor. None of the particle effects are done so i would prefer not showing them off for now.
by the way do you know of anyway to change bfme2 to taking screenshots in .jpg instead of bitmap or any quick converters i can use?

I think it's hardcoded in the game, though that's just a guess.
