The acid rain sounds logical but what about the nerve gas? It might work well for the infantry because they would turn absolutely deadly because if they are targeting a moving object, the nerve gas could act as a barrier and not a purple spot on the ground. ANd the wind might carry it.

Uhh, u needed an idea for Dr.Thrax's snd SW so here is my idea, howabout carpet bomb using the antharax bomb, but on a much larger scale. It might seem a little unbalanced but anthtrax is only effective against land units. Oh, and another idea is that u can give antarax gamma to all the generals and gla, and have Dr. Thrax's new upgrade: Nerve Agent (Ricin, Sarin, maybe even VX Gas) and it could be longer lastingand possibly be carried with the wind because its a gas.

finally someone comes up with something that is not utterly stupid......

ok that works I will see what I can come up with on the particle effects and what not....yay acid rain (very strong) melts infantry and corrodes tanks and makes buildings burst into flames I LOVE IT!!! I say small plane or launched form base style delivery?

How about a toxin storm?? :w00t0: Could be like a thunder storm with toxin clouds/ poisiones that have become high in the sky and turned into a storm causeing lightning and poisonas damage. What you think?

uhmmm like some acid rain... yes that could work. The problem is how to pu it ingame maybe add an sructure that makes a gas goes to the ski to create the acid rain.. Or spread the gas by plane.

I like it !

cool i think the acid rain would be a neat effect as other mods and seems to always use the toxin plane style. So would be good if you could do some acid rain and maybe a biut of lightning thrown in to. :w00t0:

we thought about that as being a new Superunit for thrax but that really wouldnt work like it does in RA2 so it would just be a chem sniper...maby but I dont know as of now...for now the Acid Rain thing is GREAT ^_^

both are way to much for gla. what they could do is to release a Gas from a building maybe a mass amount of CO2 or any other gas that could make the acid rain, also something like the cropduster could carry a gas to the sky, release it and make the storm.

It could kill infantry and tanks and make great damage to building but not that much...

lol on both of them....umm this is GLA people soo think very low tech and trashy.........anyway if it is a missile it could be a modified scud that explodes in the air and causes the acid rain to form or if it is a plane it drops a fine dust into the air and the storm forms.....I like the missile version myself so it is up to the rest of you to decide on it....

Vote 1 for: Missile Delivery, modified scud that detonates in mid air spawning the acid rain storm

Vote 2 for: Cargo Plane delivery same plane as Anthrax Bomb drops a fine mist into the air that forms into the acid rain storm

I think you should add a gas to Thrax though. Not as a superweapon, but have something that would use VX or Mustard gas or something instead of anthrax. It should be able to damage air units, since its a gas.

btw, the acid rain idea is very cool

technically anthrax wouldnt kill units as fast as it does in the game ^_^ plus if a unit is exposed to it he should die soon after unless he recives medical attention...
