That's actually the ZH copy protection as far as I know.
Illegal version? Hmm?

I reinstalled the game 5 times, and I mean completlly removed. Both Zero Hour and Regular Generals. And my base still blows up in Zero Hour, I tried everything but nothing seems to work.. All I want is to play Zero Hour again.

Did you try to replace DatGen by this file ?
http://contra.cncgui...oads/DatGen.exe
Put it into your C&C Generals - Zero Hour\Zero Hour\ directory.

What does DatGen supposed to look like when you launch it? Because it doesn't look like it's working.

Just launch it. There will no window appear. That's normal.

Yeah I still have the problem. But I did a full scan on my PC last night, and when I came back I had some unwanted software or something (from google chrome) then I look in my zh folder and new folders popped up.

Go to C&C Generals - Zero Hour\Zero Hour\ and delete file generals.dat. Launch DatGen after that. New generals.dat file should appear.
Try to play the game then.

Try to run DatGen as an Administrator. Then run the game as an Administrator.

Try to enable compaibility with Windows XP Service Pack 3 for generals.exe.
If it doesn't help, try to change the key for Zero Hour. Use Keygen to do. Launch DatGen one more time after that!

You go to the drop box of the multi keygen and select command and conquer generals zero hour, then you click generate key then change key. Sound right?
