Please comment on the below map. I have included some territorial claims by certain nations for plot purposes, and to get the ball rolling without a major event to begin with. If you would like me to add another territorial claim or one for your nation, please let me know and I'll be more than happy to. Bear in mind however that there must be a reason for it, like your people are quite similar and the ethnic group there is identifiable with your country (Such as Sudetenland and Germany), or if you historically owned those lands (Such as Israel and the Middle East).

You may update my borders. Naturally, all four factions hate each other and need only the slightest provocation to war with eachother. I believe that, unless Xeno is joining this, the XI could be disputed territory, purely because it might be a nation in anarchy from which the XI emerged (it was only some time into the present day that it emerged as a single united nation...perhaps her neighbours have a bit of a vested interest?

Hence why I kept my three allied and similiar. I will try to incorporate the history I write for it here into the modern Aesanian Union. Who knows, maybe we can have a retcon with CCW1 since I'm rather disappointed with how it turned out.

I should get around to really putting my topic together sometime soon... I won't give an official timeframe since I don't want you on my ass to complete it. But I'll have the three done. I'll be somewhat isolationist until the late thirties, when in 1940 I officially combine into the Aesanian Union. I'm thinking of renaming the countries which make up the Union as well, since I'd like more variety. I'll figure it out...

Well this is pre-CCW, so there has to be an element of continuity. However, since there's been little or no reference to what happened between then and now, and no accurate scale of what year the original CCW took place in (aside from Spencer's post timestamps, which are fairly arbitrary IMO)...

The only guidelines were in relation to our own Earth timeline. We specified 'Modern-to-near-future'. What to us may be the technology of 2006 may, to the CCW universe, be the technology of 2042 their own time.

Same goes for Origins. While the technology time period is early 1930s from a real-world perspective, it might be the year 1911, or it might be 1975. Hell, it might be 1932 and it took until 2042 for all the events that lead up to the original CCW to unfold, due to the different paths taken by the scientists in this universe. They may, for example, have discovered the internal combustion engine in the year 1890 instead of 1843, however a technological renaissance at the time may have provoked technology to leapfrog forward at a rate even greater than our own, possibly leading to the first car a mere twenty years later as opposed to sixty. Or they might've taken the CCW equivalent of Da Vinci seriously and actually made the first compression engine back in the 1500's, and technology went uber-slow because nobody could think of automotive uses for it for centuries.

What I'm saying is, that while this might be 1930 in OUR time, it needn't be that same year in THEIRS. It might be 2010 ingame for World War Three, but WW2 (Origins) might take place in 1922, their time...this would let us buy ourselves time to bring about a continuity.

I specified CCW1 took place in 2007, both game time and real time. Like the Ace Combat world which this was somewhat modelled around, it uses a similiar time scale and tech levels as our real world.
