Vista will be out then, XP will proberly be supported but I could imagine most people will have upgraded to Vista.

Most people don't upgrade until they buy a new machine.

From what I've seen, vista doesnt impress me much anyway. I don't mind DX10, chances are many cards will support it anyway. Though if it's BFME2 engine it'll have similar requirements, I should think.

DX10 will require a DX10 compatible graphics card. We won't be seeing many of those just yet anyway.

It looks a bit bland when seen en-mass - it's just a sheet of desert yellow with little or no distinction between structures other than their architecture, which is annoying.

The tiberium looks good from this camera height though.

I can see after a bit of discerning the power plants, refinery, silos, con-yard, barracks, factory, air-field, radar and uplink towers.

I'm beginning to dislike those defence towers, they look a bit naff. What's GDI doing with a missile platform anyway?

The mystery building is still a mystery. It looks like it could be a firestorm generator, but there aren't any walls....

Maybe they've changed the way the Firestorm works, like making it some sort of shield instead of a wall-generated forcefield.

mystery building is still a mystery

Really?.

I think it all looks great, and the powerlines are a nice addition. What's wrong with it being a sheet of desert yellow, that's GDI's colour? Buildings are supposed to be differentiated by their architecture anyway, and it certainly doesn't look bland.
