there is a lot of good points made in this, but i disagree with the last comic strip. "How would we keep all the FBI employees, fire fighters etc" the reality is that for a good conspiracy to work you do not need all those people, it would be just as easy to lie to those people as it would be to lie to everyone else. In fact it is easier to lie to those people as they are trained to take orders from their superiors especially in emergency situations. The less people you involve, and the more power you have beforehand the more effective the conspiracy will end up becoming.

Also just one reason the makers of loose change are still alive is their popularity, if they sudenly died you can bet that every single person that has ever watched it would believe without a doubt that there was a conspiracy. But if they ignore them then question stil remains open.

In summation I dont really believe that the American Govt orchestrated 911, they didnt have to. Because the actions that have happened in the past 100 years would have utlimately led to 911 anyway. All they had to do was ignore several warnings. Think about all the fucking they have done to the middle east, it was only seconds before something like 911 happened. America is a good capitalist, they take advantage of every sitaution, and they plan to take advantage of situations. It is that simple.

If they were military planes, what happened to two 767s and two 757s? Where'd they go? What about the passengers?

The Popular Mechanics article is fantastic. I've seen all the conspiracy theories: They're all bullshit. Anyone can string together fallacies, put it in a nice looking video, and get idiots to believe a vaporous lack of facts.

Also if you read the Popular Mechanics Article, there was a VF Corp. business jet in the area of Flight 93's crash site. VF Imagewear is the producer and designer of the American Airlines uniforms. OMG CONSPIRACYYY!!! It was the uniform makers all along.

the interesting thing though is how quickly this event have become most likely the major conspiracy theory in ages. that would in my eyes be worth something

either the internet is a good way for conspiracy theories to spread, or the internet has amplified the effect that conspiracy theories have on the world. but can we say that conspiracy theories are directly bad for society? any critic can start out as a conspiracy theory. kinda like these oil-rig workers these days who are extremely sick or dead because of dangerous toxins that the oil-companies never really wanted to tell people were hazardous?

there is nothing wrong with a good conspiracy if it keeps you on your toes, but you shouldnt truly believe a conspiracy theory, or the government.

I find it amazing that in this day and age, that there is still enough ignorance in American society to believe convoluted conspiracy theories like this.

It also makes me glad that whatever mutation took place in my DNA during conception allowed me to not be a blathering dolt and ignorant hick like the vast majority of my blood relatives.

Anyone believing these is insane. OR any other conspiracy theory on this.

lol, funny narcismo... not that they offer much proof, and seem to have found the craziest of conspiracy theorists in existance (wtf, everyone from the flights are STILL ALIVE!?) but yeah, definately entertaining

Now, I do wonder if the government had some advanced knowledge of this and just failed to prevent it... but that's just speculation. To me, it seems kind of like Pearl Harbour, we knew it was coming (we might not have known the targets, but we've been pissing of Islamic fanatics for a few thousand years, we knew something bad would eventually come of it), but knew that in order to have a war it needed to happen... not that the war in Iraq has 10% of the justification of WW II

yeah, the first thing that struck me there was that these guys are vultures, not really dedicated to anything but filling up their own pockets on other peoples suffering.

but i don't like the representation they've used there though. even though they've found someone who pretty much were assholes, it doesnt mean that everyone out there needs to be. they are basically saying "9/11 killed alot of peple, thus we should not dig in the painful memories looking for answers that might be true. just look at these idiots..." if anyone actually did something relevant to 9/11 that some of the conspiracy theories claim they have, they are rubbing their hands and smiling when you have people making these kind of shows.

but i have to agree a bit with the psychiatrist there, conspiracies is a good way for people to process an unbelivable scenario, and can quickly spiral into the absurd.
