hi i have done everything needed to add my own new portrait ingame i.e make a nw asset add it 2 my .big file with aall myy oher mod files and i have done the cordinate thing and added my ini file that cameomapper gave me after i done the cordinates into my .big file iv labbeled the name of the image to use in my units ini and itstill doznt come up with the image i wanted

How does it come up? Pink? Invisible? Another Unit's Portrait? Once again, please provide more information on your problem.

if you put the portrait in a new ini file you must put in data\ini\mappedimages\handcreated

to fingulfin it comes up with another units image as i used that first of before i made my new unit and yes 2playagamesi have put it as data\ini\mappedimages\handcreated

ur size of the image is 253, i think it has to be like 256 x 256, or 64 x 64 etc.

it doesnt have to be any certain size, the game will resize it to fit as long as the coordinates are equal, width and height, i use all different sizes and it always works

this error is really weird. it doesnt have anything to do with asset.dat, it would be purple. the weird thing is that the previous image is used (is that right?)

i might have an idea why my portraits dont work could it be that i need my images to be circular if so they arent lol i would like to know how to do this

I doubt that's the problem, all the palantir art I have done so far (which is ALOT) I had square pics.
