The home of most vampires. Originally inhabited by humans the place shows signs of human architecture, although lots of it has changed to fit the vampires’ needs. Even with the current vampires living there, there’s still plently of empty rooms, also taking into account that vampires don’t sleep in beds but in coffins usually. Vampires have been living in this place for quite some time. What originally started as a few vampires murdering most of the human inhabitants, leaving a few to become vampires as well, became an entire plague until no human remained. An occasional few fleed to Emporia, where nowadays vampires have become a myth and humans believe it was the pest that killed the people living in Ardeal at first. Every human would do well to avoid this place however and any human in their sane mind does so.
Andrei is the so-called leader of the vampires inhabiting Ardeal. Contrary to his young appearance his age is older than might seem, although his true age remains unknown. He's a strong, powerful vampire and feared by most. He shrouds himself in mysteries yet has a big influence on every vampire living in Ardeal, all answer to him. It is said he was one of the very first vampires who murdered the humans in Ardeal, however he himself rarely speaks of it so rumours remain rumours.
