"Ah, well, I'll tell you what I remember. Centuries ago, all races inhabiting this world, save us vampires, lived more or less closer together. I'm sure you remember, orcs, dwarfs and mortals, in the meaning of humans, inhabited a great part of Memoria, like a whole. For reasons I do not personally recall, heh what did I care what they did to one another, somehow they got into a big conflict. More and more of them got somewhat racist towards other races and they grew to dislike those who were not theirs. Some of them killed those of another race, believing only their race was worthy of existance."
"Eventually this grew towards the Big Conflict, which resulted in years of war. The long fighting resulted in the dwarf moving down south, in the so-called Ice Mountains, to which they've adapted quite well or so I've heard. The orcs went up north, towards the Green Mountains, living in the caves there, to which they've also well adjusted. The mortals, humans, went to the westcoast and named their place Emporia, where they rebuilt and renamed the city Maynor, from the ashes of battle. This mansion, Ardeal, was also from them. A few of us murdered most of the inhabitants and make a few remaining ones to our own. An few fled and nowadays they still believe it was the pest and they avoid this place. It is ours now. It's not far from Emporia, which is full of lovely mortals to feed upon."
He grinned and showed his teeth. "Speaking of which, I'm damn hungry." He licked his lips. "Any questions regarding history or did you hear enough for today? Boring I know, but you can't expect mortals to put on much of a show, eh?"
