[Dain Ironfoot]

Firstly.... bloody hell you lot are good. Seems everyone in this community has become amazingly good at modeling and skinning. I feel.... dwarfed . No seriously, lots of brilliant people have joined and lots of people have become better and better till they've reached their current high standard. Rock on guys..

Anyway.. you don't hear much of me anymore do you? *shrugs* RA and our secrecy I guess. Still I have a few things around.. and if Nert can post high poly stuff.. then so can I (If it really offends.. I'll shift to OT)

Anyway.. I have a hunch a lot of you ignore RA stuff on general policy.. or just lack of publicity... anyway.. I'll post this again as it is still my finest work ever IMHO...

Lately I've mainly been modelling a lot of LOTR weapons... here are a few of my favs.. I guess they could be chucked into CaH or somthing..












Thats the entire selection for a little mod I've ingame for Mount and Blade

Oh yes.. also optimised and skinned my Dalek

As Ive said before, I love the insane detail on Dain.

Those weapons are simply stunning though. Those are extremely good. My favorites are Narsil, Isildur's sword, Glamdring, and Boromir's sword. Saruman's staff looks sweet too. Much, much better than EA's CAH stuff.

HOLY SHIT, I can't tell the diffrence between reality and that screenie . Actuly they look alot more realistic than the replicas I have on the wall lol .
Whats are the poly counts?? (if this is to much trouble to answer don't bother)

one crit the beard on dain looks sorta mat, as if hes got hair gell in it lol

Why I say that? Because look at this:



And there is exactly the same detail on dains... but why to skin from scratch when we can use a very good picture? Even if Dain has used this picture, his work is awesome! The model is great! And the others weapons . Nertea could be the Lord of skinning but Dain could be the Lord of weapons too (certainly more...)

I would like to see more things like your work Dain


Edit: Oh after having read again the Lauri message, I think that maybe he said that you haven't done the model, if it's the case i apologize not to have understood
