A knock on the wooden door. "Come in", a voice said. A squeeking sound was heard and the door opened slowly. Celes walked in and noticed the tall guy sitting in the large chair. Andrei. Looking as good as always. Celes greeted him. "Please, be seated," Andrei said and pointed with his hand to the other chair in the room. In between them there stood a desk. "Thank you" Celes answered and he sat down. He noticed it was rather dark in the room. He wondered why but decided not to ask.

"So, what news you bring?" Andrei asked, his hands folded together, his long nails clearly visible.
"Dri's awake. I asked him if he knew what had happened, as per your request, but he did not know. He did not remember much." Celes answered.
"Hmm, that's rather.. curious. I suppose it's a good thing, though."
"Andrei?"
"Nothing. Say, do you know where that, what's his name again.. that guy who was going to Emporia some days ago."
"No one really knows. Someone said he'd seen him at Ardeal, but not seen him anymore after. We did notice some horse tracks near to the area where he normally resides. Do you think he took off with a horse?"
"I'm not sure whether he could ride a horse. The loser. Well, he wasn't that strong a vampire anyway. I don't recall who sire'd him, probably some new kid. Anyway, let me know if you find out more. This is a rather curious situation."
Celes nodded. "Very well."
"Leave now. I have some things to.. take care of."
"Very well", Celes said. He turned around and started to walk near the door. Suddenly he felt two hands around his neck. It scared him, he had not heard anything coming. "Stay alert at all times, my boy. Sometimes enemies lurk there where you do not expect them." Andrei said and removed his hands. Celebs smiled, relieved it was Andrei. Andrei put his hand on Celes' shoulder, as a friendly gesture. "Let us leave." He removed his hand and opened the door. Both left the room and the door was locked.
