At first I wanted to say, that the mod you are creating is really awesome ...
I played the Elvenstarmod, but I think that your mod will be much better
I just wanted to ask you one little tiny thingy, hehe
you created Gil-Galad, just for fun as it seems
so I ask you to create just one more hero: Feanor
In a mod, which is dedicated to the elves, I think the greatest of all the elves shouldn't miss
please, create Feanor of Aman, please ...

I think that Feanor, if Celeglin would create him, should be much stronger, than Glorfindel and also than Galadriel. It is said that the powers of Galadriel ad Feanor are nearly the same, but I think Feanor was wiser and stronger than Galadriel.
Also he invented the Silmarilli

first thing this mod does not go into the first age what so ever, so that means no feanor or other uber first age elves.

If you make a mod about elves you cannot say that it's just a mod of the elves of the third age:
take galadriel as example: she is also an elf of the first age
or elrond: he is an elf of the first/second age
or as a last example Gil-Galad: also an elf of the First Age
Sooooooooo, you simply cannot say: "No, it's just about the elves of the third age"
and another thing is that Feanor should actually be an "optional character" as Gil-Galad is!
So everyone could choose, if he is in the mod or not!!

I can say that. This mod IS about the Elves of the 2nd age. Don't see any Doriath Warriors around now do you?

the whole game is about the 3rd age though, and it does matter who was born when, the whole idea is that Elrond, Galadrial etc were still alive in the 3rd age and fighting in battles. feanor is dead and should not be in the mod.
gilgaled should not be in the mod, celegrin has said many times he wont be in, but as he said he just felt like doing him and making him optional
besides it is all just needless extra work. he has enough on his hands coding and map making, then testing before it can be released

Firstly, thanks Feanîmriel for showing an interest in the mod! It's greatly appreciated.
Secondly, the entire argument about the First Age, Second Age, Third Age thing was stupid from the start. He said as an optional hero, just like Gil-Galad. Gil-Galad was clearly not alive during the Third Age, so obviously death dates don't matter for optional heroes (that plural scares me).
Lastly, no I won't be doing Feanor any time soon. As I just posted in another thread, there are many other Elven heroes I'd rather try first. Thingol and Melian would be great, as would Luthien, Beleg, Oropher, and Amroth. But at the top of heroes I'll have to do at some part are the ones who are living: Elladan and Elrohir. After the initial release, I'll start expanding the mod and working them into the mod.

I've never seen Feanor so....I couldn't care less on what elf you'd made Cel 
Anyways, I would rather hope you'd get a n00b attack, and that you've made a LOTR mod, of ALL ages, and the factions would be Men Alliance, "Mordor" Alliance, Dwarven Alliance, and so on

yeah guests get treated pretty bad that's why when I can't log on or forget to I say who I am at the top.
As for wether Feanor is put in the mod it's really up to his discretion the mod looks awesome anyway.
