Hey Cel
I just wanted to ask if you already thought about new Elven factions for one of the later versions!
In my thread "FEANOR" you told me that you will be coding Thingol and Melian as possible new heroes
I think it would be great to code a new faction for them: Doriath!
I know that this would be much work, but I think you could do that.

And now to the main point: I'm a real fan of Gondolin!
Do you consider it possible that you code this faction??

By the name of the mod Elven Alliance.... im pretty sure he will just add a awsome elf faction with some buffs to other factions.

Doriath and Gondolin didn't exist in the third age, the first one disappeared under the sea when Angband fell, and Gondolin was destroyed by morgoth, and I think that Celeglin isn't making a mod of the first age.

I never said that I will be coding those units. I said I would do them before I ever would do Feanor. There's about only a 5% chance I would do any of those characters in the near future.

Any new factions I add will be from the Third Age.

NO NO NO NO NO. anything else he isnt already working will not make the mod. quit asking for all of these things because they are not going to happen at least right now. start asking him to add tons of stuff AFTER he gets the first one out. god has anyone tried to mod before (besides the people who have been here a while ) it is not easy to make all of these things. then he doesnt want to keep the same model for people so he would have to make a new one. just stop asking him to put so many new things into TEA ( hope u dont mind i used that cel )

but please guys: stop teaching me about the history of middle earth!! I nearly learned all his books (i mean Jrr by heart), so don't tell me what happened to gondolin and doriath

can i give u some advice. just get some more post around the place then when u post and u have like 25 or something people will listen to u. when i first came here back in July of 05 everyone yelled at me when i suggested the smallest thing. even celeglin yelled at me once. then i got some post and know nobody hates me (I think)

The Battle for Beleriand has both Thingol and Melian in it in a Sindar Faction and Gondolin in a Noldor faction. I also think that Thingol and Melian will be in the Four Ages Mod. (am I correct morgoth946?)

Post count means nothing. It's the quality of posts that make (most) people respect you. In your case, the quality increased as you posted more. I think Feanîmriel was met with some hostility because while his proposal was layed out reasonably well enough, the idea was far too large for anyone who's been around the community to accept.

yeah lol very true, I think guests, are exactly that, people you are polite to, not to treat them as nO0bs, most of them arnt nO0bs, but people that just don't know whats going on.
