You know how in Red Alert, you could use those dogs to kill people, and to act as scouts? Well, in the next version of contra, maybe all the factions coud have animals for scouting, and light attacking. Each orf the animals have two different attacks, and those can be switched by selecting which "mode" you want.

With GLA, you could buy snakes that come in a group of five. They would be 100 dollars for five at baracks. they could be built in the barracks, or in "the zoo" (new building for animals) and the snakes could scout areas, and attack with their poison. they would be stealthed, and could only damage infantry.
Toxin General: They could spit poison, or acid (with upgrade from palace) which would kill infantry, and the acid would damage vehicles a little bit. can bite as well.
Demo Gen:Snakes can bite, or explode.
Assualt: snakes have litle pistols on them. Not stealthed. can also bite.
Stealth: snakes Arn't unstealthed when they attack. they can bite, or spit venom which for 5 seconds, blinds infantry.

With China, you could use monkeys. They can attack by clawing or something. they can also throw rocks (generated out of no where). they're also stealthed. 100 dollars for one monkey at barracks.

Nuke: monkeys can throw depleted uranium chunks (like rocks, but more damaging to infantry). can also claw.
Infantry: baboons instead of generic monkeys. more health, and more damage to their claw attack. Can be upgraded with "training" so they're even more deadly with their rocks and claws.
Flame: throws chunks of lava, and is also in a little fire resistant monkey suit. with propaganda center, they gain the ability to light buildings on fire with matches.
Tank: standard monkey. nothing special. They can ride on the top of any tank, and throw rocks to make the tanks better against infantry.

With USA, they could use attack dogs, like german shepards. they have bullet proof vests, and are stealthed. They can attack by biting, or using a little gun attached to their backs. stealthed. 250 dollars for one at barracks.

Laser: Dog has laser gun, slightly more powerful, and can shoot down missiles.
Superweapons: Dog a "microwave tank" like beam that can kill infantry, and shut down buildings. can be upgraded to have a mini shield-projector.
Robotics: dog is a cybord. 500 dollars at barracks. supply center required. can also have a drone. They have a much more powerful bite, and can damage tanks with their bite attack. Double health. their gun can be upgraded to be armor piercing.
Airforce general: standard dogs. can be upgraded bith bio-engineering, so that they are built with little dogy-wings, and can fly (still stealthed). They can't attack when flying, so it's just a way to get them places faster.


So, what do you guys think about introducing animals into contra, or remix?

Um.... i am all up for animals ie: attack dogs for scouts and anti infantry if coded right... but snakes? and having them attack vehicals and stuff? Acid upgrade? pistal on one of the snakes?
I don't like the ideas here.

holy crap the hell is this?
i hated using the dogs in RA2 so i just used the terror drone(robot)it does the same job(but it doesnt detect spys but there is no spy in this mod) but no lifes lost.
i say no 2 using dogs yes 2 terror drone robots

terror drones have been talked about before, its not possable with this engin i beleave the out come was.

It is possible to have terror drones just they wont be able to use there abilities as they did in RA2. YOu could have a terror drone model only different abilities(like doing more damage to tanks with maybe a light railgun mounted under it).

And whoever u are guest a terror drone is a red alert 2 trade mark for soverts, u can't just take the model and call it a terror drone because if it can not do the thing it did in red alert 2 then it really is not a terror.
It was called a terror drone in ra2 because it could get into a group of units and eat them up from the inside and it would be a really bitch to protect from them.

The unit u are talking about is only another tank with a terror drone model, i diss-approve.

Don't be too hard on him everyone posts ideas some good some bad, But i would advice to think your ideas out more before posting...

Snakes with guns and acid upgrades and soo forth... no go for me.

Please post in the contra or remix suggestion topics next time, and yes i am hunting n00bs but the basic idea about animals is good just not worth having in generals and deff not how he suggested. :ninja:

Yes. That's why they made tons of stuff detect stealth.
Cause we all know parents/animal rights groups would
have gone insane over this when they saw a lttle snake
get shot by a nuke cannon and think
"My son is gonna buy a nuke cannon and shoot snakes!"
haha. I hate parents groups....

Now your being silly just plan silly....

Monkeys get the mg.. pay them with bananas

Snakes don't get bazookas they get morta shells on there back then they stand up like the cobra does and fire the shells as if the mouth of the snake is a morta :ninja:

and the elephants get the rocket lunchers with a gattlin gun on the back.

and the cheetahs get katana fangs to run at speed upto peaple to slice them in 2 while farting nerve gas for any surviors to die from.
