you are right, not sure with the balrog through.

Yup. Matias is right. All the creatures I'm making will be different parts of models put together, with a lot of my own additions and edits of course.

Also I had to make the horns from scratch b/c I didn't notice the bull's model until I had finished them.

tip: if your model is going to be symmetrical (same on the left and the right) you can chop away half of it and apply a Symmetry modifier to it. now you only have to edit half of the model and the other half will be exactly the same but mirrored (more info -> google)

If I had just, for an example, made a model from a nintendo game's character, like the Mask of Majora (Zelda) :ohmy: , would it be "legal" for me to post a pic of it?

:wub: THAT'S annoying. Can I get permission from Nintendo?

If I can get permission from nintendo, I'm going to think about making a Zelda mod (luv the games soo much) I making another hero, but I'm not mentioning his name for now :wub: It's obvious what model he was made from. But I made the mask from the top of a head :ohmy: It's not visible from the back, but I'll be fixing that soon.

nintendo doesn't allow fan games or mods of any kind. i know it sucks and is stupid but you don't want to be attacked by their lawyers :(

Gmax/RenX is a bitch, and does stuff like this. As far as I know, you're screwed once it corrupts files like that... Someone else may be able to help you, but I'm doubting it. Sorry.

Also, I'm about 90% sure you're allowed to post pictures of models you've made of Nintendo material: it's the same basic thing as posting a hand-drawn piece of Fan Art (and Nintendo has no problem with that). Just don't go releasing any models/skins/mods.

Good job on the mask, btw. Very cool.

Oh well. I still have the mask on another file. It really is the same as fan art. hmm. And thanx Lauri I hadn't really noticed it but the mask was very fat. So here's the edited verion. Some parts are pretty jagged right and the spikes are a little off now, but w/e. And here's a picture of the mask from the game for you to reference it to. So cool!

Ok. Well I'm announcing the start of my first mod, The Undead Legions (this is why I've been obsessed with vamps lately :lol: ). It will add a faction of vampires to the game (bfme2 of course) and will show some new types of gameplay, for the vampire faction. Everytime a vampire kills an enemy unit they will gain some blood (resources). The mod will also add a new Vampire class to the CAH with the option of Necromancer, Shadow Knight, and Assassin.

Here's the techtree:

Bat Cave (Builds Vampire demons)
Mausoleum (Builds Knights)

I'm going to be working on it solo for now, unless anyone wants to join the mod team (animators, modelers, coders, skinners)

I think it looks a bit like a man, no offence.

The clothing looks good, though I would prefer a more white colour choice since afterall she is, well, a bride :p

The CaH stuff seems pretty neat also, I will watch this mod with interest :lol:

Well she's not being married at the time :lol: I'm thinking about making the dress with a white overlay in photoshop, but idk. I'm happy someone's interested in the mod so far ;)

Also I will be needing the help of a skinner and an animator (Don't really want to use the balrog for the vamp demons...)

And as for the man comment... :) ... it's the pictures. She looks more like a woman ingame.
