Backstory - Panek is a Belkan 'advisor' who is controlling the King under ransom, causing him to invade Clandonia. No one knows.

------------------------------------------------

1840 - King's Palace, Tyranistan

The King had just finished enjoying five courses of his six-course feast. However, the sixth, an apple pie, was not for eating. The King didn't mind, he had told the chef he wasn't keen on apple pie before anyway. This was for a different reason. He broke it apart with his fork, and ate a few bites.

The King reached into his pocket, and scrunched up a tiny bit of paper into fist, along with a tissue. Panek glanced at him to see what he was doing. The King feigned a sneeze, to cover himself. "Just sneezing, advisor", he lied. Panek turned his gaze elsewhere in disgust. This moment was used to quickly drop the piece of paper into the remains of the apple pie. It fell disguised into the mix of apple of pastry.

"CHEF!" he screamed. The chef hurried to his King's side. "This dessert is not satisfactory! I refuse to eat anymore, take it back and examine what's wrong with it. This is not your usual standard.". The chef hurried back with the pie without saying anything. The King looked at Panek. "You just can't get a good apple pie nowadays". Panek chuckled, unaware of anything going on.

1845 - Palace Kitchens

The Chef stood holding a piece of paper. He found it inside the apple pie the King rejected. He read it to himself:

INFORM THE GOLDEN PRINCE - PANEK IS CONTROLLING ME AGAINST MY WILL - BELKANS MUST BE STOPPED - CLANDONIA MUST BE SAVED - TELL THE WORLD - DON'T LET PANEK FIND OUT YOU KNOW THIS - ELSE BELKA WILL END US

The chef rushed off to find the Golden Prince.

1900 - Golden Prince's Bedchamber

The Golden Prince was called such because he was the direct heir to the throne. Upon reading his father's message, he immediatly killed the chef. It would be a loss to the palace since he was a family friend for years, but the risk of someone else knowing was too great. He could be forced by Panek to reveal all at any time.

He has to get out of the palace without Panek knowing. All messages sent out of the palace must be being monitored to him, so he can't get a message out that way. He must cause a diversion. Or even better, get the Taifaiq to cause a diversion.
