Unconfirmed reports of raids from the Kauss mountains of Casmirian fundementalists into northern Belka. Initial reports are coming back with stories of attacks on the Belkan civilian populations.

It appears they are cutting off the right leg of civilians. ~eye witness.

These attrocities seems to greatly differ from those south of the border, where they are only targeting military targets and cleaving off only arms.

This new action from the Casmirians north of the border is even more atrocious. Some avaliable clips actually show Casmirian militiamen sawing off the legs of Belkan civilians.

The few civilian casualties who live, are suffering greatly from the ordeal.

One can only assume a powerful response from the Belkans.

The Belkan forces stationed in the Casmire were, naturally, not particularly happy with this recent development. They issued significant rewards for finding out who perpetrated the atrocities, and significant penalties on everyone else.

The Belkans blacked out power stations wherever they found them in Casmire. All public buildings were closed, and anyone even suspected of the slightest wrongdoing was rounded up into camps. In the north, citywide manhunts began for the terrorists.

There were calls from Belkans across the southern nation to provide leads, information. Anything which led to an arrest would be rewarded in some way with a concession from the Belkans. Such as lighting up a power grid for a few hours.

Casmirian soldiers who had been incarcerated began to be executed inside their POW camp. The reprisals were becoming more and more disproportionate...and even among the Belkan military there were problems. They were soldiers, not butchers...this shouldn't be happening.

Associated Press:
A large magnesium truckbomb exploded today in downtown Ciruigrad in SW Belka. The explosion blew off the sides of 7 buildings in the commerce district during early morning rush hour.

It is assumed hundreds of Belkan civilians were killed.

The reprisal was an acid strike over the former Casmirian capital. It was a horrific act of pure destruction.




HOWEVER...

From amongst the Fourth Army, there was a Lieutenant-Colonel, commander of 15th motor rifle, who sent a short yet very poignant message to the Casmirian government-in-exile. It said:

You bring us hope, Comrades. Now please, bring us the AU.
