Double post, different subject.

I'm trying to covert my .tga images to .dds. I have the .dds converter. It fails everytime I want to convert my image. I've tried adding the .dds plugin to PS, but it doesn't work. Gah, this is really annoying me T_T

Any suggestions on what I should do?

I don't know anything about this DDS converter you speak of, but dds files need to be squares (e.g. 128x128)

Here is the DDS Converter.

Do I actually NEED .dds files for my palantir images to show up? Can I just stick to my .tga's?

I prefer using .tga cause it's easier and I don't want to download .dds plugin...

Thanks to Fingulfin, i have my image ingame. w00t! You rock, fin!

1) Can anyone explain to me how the Instill Terror/Screech/Terrible Fury powers work? I try to use those powers as a base and then add an attribute modifier that will increase the rate that my hero heals. But whenever I add the attribute modifier it cancels out the fear created by Instill Terror/Screech/Terrible Fury.

2) Is there a way I can create fear using an Attribute Modifier?

I don't think so. Perhaps you're better off by using the ChainedButton code to link an attribute modifying ability to the fear ability.

ChainedButton? ... I've not heard of that code before :p Uhh... Does anyone know where it's used, so I can look at it and see if I can understand how it's used?

I've looked in system/system.ini, commandbutton.ini, specialpower.ini and science.ini, but there's nothing to do with "ChainedButton" and Fuel The Fires. Does anything else spring to mind?

CommandButton Command_PurchaseSpellFueltheFires
Command = PURCHASE_SCIENCE
ButtonBorderType = UPGRADE
ButtonImage = SBEvil_FueltheFires
Science = SCIENCE_FueltheFires
TextLabel = CONTROLBAR:FueltheFires
DescriptLabel = CONTROLBAR:TooltipFueltheFires

;;Trigger this command button when the purchase science is activated
CommandTrigger = Command_SpellBookFueltheFires
End

The CommandTrigger then links it to another command button

ChainedButton is basically the same method, just done differently. Look in Sharkus ini file for an example of that

Zimoo got here first... Sharku's "Man Eater" Ability is a chained attack. First, it launches an Attribute Modifier for sharku, then it activates a Passenger attack (like the Nazgul) which picks up the target, flings him, and heals Sharku. The chained button is if you want to push a button, and have to Specialpower modules two activate at once. Once again, look in Sharku.ini CommandButton.ini CommandSet.ini and Specialpower.ini. It is relatively simple to find out. 1 more thing: I didn't know that Fuel the fires did that... I should look into it.

All passive spells do it, I believe it's so they can trigger the coding that's defined in system.ini (which come to think of it, is probably why my passive spells never work :p)
