You can't expect some amazing skinner to join your mod just like that. You skin, you get better, you might recruit other skinners.

Err, Interesting. You might want to try and give it a more mettalic look, but Im no skinner, so don't take my word for it ;)

no it isnt i just coloured the parts in renx ;), ok just want a like vote to go on what you would like to see, we have quite a few stuff to show but we don't want to release it all at once.

get in line....i need a skinner too,and its probably not gonna happen fast.i might suggest you at least try skinning. i did and it turns out i suck at it,but if no one offers i can at least put out my mod with crappy skins....but if you want to wait,thats fine too.just know its gonna be hard to get a decent skinner to help.

:thumbsupsmiley: It is hard to find anyone these days... Most new people take Coding (its probably the easiest field). Very few actually want to learn how to skin... Modelling seems to be the second most taken field, and Animating the least. We need a bigger community, less mods, or people like me to stop doing nothing with their time and work on something :grin:

Bfme1/2 Community is big but to many people Play the game instead of actually modding it. If you counted every person with a bfme modding skill i bet the number would be big. But its true alot of people take up coding first... i know i did :p

I kinda regret that I didn't start with coding ,, since modelling and skinning is easier to learn I say :p

yeah.... when you know how to do it.... There are (or were) only crappy tutorials at the start :p I remeber also that I NEVER got any of my models working in-game.... (I began coding, then modeling, then skinning....took some time untill the skinning started though) But I found of that it was Sy's asset builder that screwed up my models ;) So when Ea's came to the marked, I was very happy, and only a couple of models have failed me since... :) oh, and of course, the first model I got working in-game with Sy's, was a dwarf, and I was DARN happy then! No I didn't skin it, I used RA's skin, since it's very easy to make the skin look good when the picture I used showed the dwarf in a T-stance..... So, Ra's renders are alot better now :D

Arg, I'm talking rubberish, and this is way off-topic, but do you have a doom "allowance"? Can you make this mod public?

hmm, that is strange rudgey said all the models are done, i know nothing of this as i am the only modeller :lol:

We decided to change the assault team to a mech or robot if you like ^_^.

New model; Nano Gate, for those who have seen teh film than you will know what it does (reffered to as a nano wall in film). For those who don't know its basically a wall/gate that once a certain code is entered the wall turns into a liquid substance if you like.
