A chav is of the lower echelons of culture in the UK, acting like gangsters and 'wiggers' do in the US. Usually uneducated and lacking fashion sense, as well. I am not sure what you would call them in your part of the world, though.
I'm from the US and I hate chavs... Infact that is the word I use to describe such people in my everyday life. You Brits 'ere at Revora have rubbed off on me.

Well, chav can be described like that, i know they were fucking around, i was too(my plot twist was gonna be that one of the caharcter's is a hamster and just not telling any body) usually chav means what you just said, but it can also be just someone who listens to hip-hop , wears sports clothing and speaks odd like that, it's just the way most chavs act is bad. and it's not a faux british accent, i am british!

I can actually do a mean English accent... And an Australian one to boot. I usually use them when prank calling friends late at night.
But yeah, I usually just consider chavs anyone who's trash... No offense to them personally, but they just are.

If you're bad enough to be classed as a Chav then you are trash, why else would you be given that peticular class?
With the rate at which they are breeding, the class of chav would be the normal and average people will be in a minority group. As for me, im a bit of everything, so im more of a freak with an identity chrisis... and i wouldn't change it for the world

Every chav I knew of has been a prick, a drug taking prick, or an asswipe nonetheless towards me. Daleks need to exterminate them.

Hmm, that might just be that they are pricks, chavs seem to have a higher ratio of pricks to chav(as is expressed 20 pricks to one normal chav or 20:1) just like emos have a higher amount of depressed people.
