Probably wouldn't happen, if only because NEXUS uses too many lasers already.

The usual definition of a mech is a walking battle vehicle. The MMk2 is a mech, and so is the Cent, even though you call it a siege walker...the fact it walks makes it a mech :p

I think what he meant is that Mech usually implies a human pilot.

Its just short for mechanical.

In some works of science fiction, mecha, giant robots, meka, or mechs are piloted or remote-controlled limbed vehicles. They are generally, though not necessarily, bipedal.

Thus one could argue a bus is a mech. It is controlled by mechanical means, happens to be piloted, and in not necessarily bipedal. As general convention, however, this would be illadvised, as most items are somewhat influenced by mechanical means, including, but not limited to, seige crawlers.

That's called a tram. And that's not a real limb, is it? Don't get semantic with me, boy! :p

Actually the busses he means are busses. We have trams too, but also those busses on a few places. I don't know why they're being called busses though.. there must be something that makes them more of a bus than a tram, but I don't know what, only been in them one or two times as far as I recall.

its called a bus because it doesnt run on tracks it would be a tram if it was running on tracks

this is what wikipedia says about mechs

In some works of science fiction, mecha, giant robots, meka, or mechs are piloted or remote-controlled limbed vehicles. They are generally, though not necessarily, bipedal.

The term "mecha" is derived from the Japanese abbreviation meka for the English word "mechanical." In Japanese, "mecha" encompasses all mechanical objects, including cars, guns, computers, and other devices.

The Japanese use the term robots or "giant robots" to distinguish limbed vehicles from other mechanical devices. English speakers have repurposed the term "mecha" to mean only these vehicles

btw http://en.wikipedia....iki/Land_Walker the link for the only ever build real life battle mech the land walker (ofcourse it is japanese :D)
