Hey all, I've finally decided to retire and quit modding BFME. I no longer have the time or desire to mod and I feel like I need to move on to other things. I'm not saying that I will leave the community, but I won't be working on mods or helping out much.

It would take too long for me to thank all of you individually and I would inevitably forget someone, but I want to say thanks in particular to Celeglin, DLotS, Lauri, Hostile, Nightmare, Nertea, and Ched. You guys have been a huge help to me when I didn't have a clue as to what to do and you've been good friends (as far as internet friends go ;)). To everyone else: Thanks. Thanks for supporting and helping me in my modding.

Anyway, it's been fun being a part of this community and it really saddens me to have to leave it, but I don't have much free time nowdays and something had to go.

If anyone wants to continue/finish my KotW mod, PM me and I'll send you the files. My only request would be that you follow the basic outline of the mod (aka nothing too radical... I had hoped this mod would be a realistic expansion of EA and Tolkiens work, just adding in new characters and such.).

And now I must go to bed. Good night.

PS: If you really want to make my day, make me an honorary gobal mod for a day and let me into the T3A Chamber  I've always wanted to see what's in there...

Very bad news. It's really sad to see you leaving my friend, but I guess you made the right decision. Modding is somehting that comes of inspiration... it needs to be in your heart, otherwise it's not worth the time.

I wish you the very best with your future projects and that you still find enough time to relax... but don't forget about us ;)

Have a wonderful time, you deserve it,

Playing games? Ah, you'll never be a good modder if you get involved in actually playing them!

as said already, The Chambers is pretty, dead ;)

And, I really don't know if I will help out the new KotW team, since I'm pretty no-like-modding at the moment.... it's been some months since SotS were even touched

gonna miss ya pal, see you in another life, ehy?

Bye Gothmog, I wish you the best in whaatever you're going to do next. But, before you leave, I'd just like to say thank you so much for helping me out with all my newbie questions and teaching me various things (especially the FX business, thanks to you I can make some -if I do say so myself- quite cool ones). Thanks again for all your help! You'll be missed, but never forgotten

This makes me think: with all the ace modders leaving, we should have a "Hall of Fame" page in memory of them all, and write down what they were 'famous' for ;)

It's all been said... ;)

Dude, you're one of the reasons why I started modding this game in the first place... Your mods were like the first ones I played... :)

Well, we all have to move on sometime... ;) So, good luck and have a great time...

Cheers! ^_^

LOL! spamming in my goodbye thread!!! What's it going to come to next?!?!

And as Hot!c3 hinted at, KotW may still be finished, just by someone else... I've got two people who I am sending the mod to. And if they can finish it (or get alot done on it) then I'll hand these forums over to them for the mod discussion and I'll set up the site so that they can host it there.

In the meantime, feel free to continue using these forums for talking about KotW once it gets going again.

PS: GO EAGLES!!!
