The Contra-Remix network had filled up so I've opened 2 new networks, each for one of the 2 mods.
The Retail version of Hamachi can support 256 users in a single network, but it costs 39$ a year in subscription...
If all 3 networks get filled up (atleast 40 users) I'll see about buying an acount. Until then we'll have to limit use to 16 player networks.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

Pend, should the alpha testers stay where they are now or should we move, or what, cause maybe a relocating of the players wouldn't be bad

It would make sense f the alpha testers moved to the Remix3 network, but its not a big deal. I think most users on the contra-remix netowrk are alpha testers.
The most important thing is that users only sit in one network at a time to prevent flooding all 3 networks with the same 16 people. I'll be keeping my own acount in all 3 for monitoring purposes only.

Buying an account wont help. Every user surpassing the 16-user limit needs to have a premium account. Read the Hamachi FAQ before spending money. It's some tricky construction at this point.

Hamachi is awesome and easy .. i just wish there was an option to automatically delete idle users after some time most networks end up being filled with dead users :(
(installing hamachi on my new computer meant i couldn't use my old username anymore so im sure that my old hamachi username is still in all the networks i was in just using up space and preventing me from joining them with this new active account)

the contra community would be much larger if the networks were not full 24/7. every time i try to log in, the network is full :( contra is a great mod and i would play it more if i didnt have to do skirmishes all the time

1. Make your own network throw the info in here.the contra community would be much larger if the networks were not full 24/7. every time i try to log in, the network is full :( contra is a great mod and i would play it more if i didnt have to do skirmishes all the time
2. I vacated my spot in the ContraRemix Network a while back.
