Ok, some of you might have recognized it, and mybe played the map Mountian Conflict in the last WIP alpha, it was made by me, and since my story is let's say finished(which isn't really true) I have nothing else to do than map, and maybe one day I'll get so commen with that stupid Program called Wourld Builder that I'll make sth mission like or Challange, but I don't promise anything, skirmish maps are no problem for me, at the moment :lol:
Here are my two Maps(I'll simply edit this post if I'll make more! ^_^ )
Both maps are made for Remix, especially Mountain Conflict, I'm quite sure other mods won't like that one :)
And the version of MC I'm uploading here doesn't have the Debriliveoverride, which can cause laggs

Ok you might want to put AIs in the vally to make them work properbly they wont work too good on the hills <- this is for Valley Hill Battle

Well don't beat me with the quality of my older maps, been some yearsXD

cool. I'll swap out the copy in the Remix upload for this copy of MC. I'll check out DN tonight.

If you add more maps to the first post, make sure to add a post to the end saying, go back and check it... editing a post doesn't mark it for a re-read.

Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

I don't know about MOuntain Conflict, it may but I won't say yes, but Desert Night should.

i cant play mountain conflict
i think there might be 2 much detail since when i load the map the game is really really slow

Tiker the map shouldn't be a problem, if you play the one I uploaded here! It only gets laggy when ai units can't reach their destination, but that happens on many map, just like Twilightflame, when ai units can't get over the trench in the back of the base, I just played a game and it was fine
I've modified a map called "Bay of Pigs" that Phoenix gave my to enabled Ai, and I changed a bit of it, too.
And good news my story is tiped, finihed it today

Ok, Bay of Pigs is a ZH map it woks with remix, I just modified it a bit
And you install maps by placing the folder where all the map files are in like in my cause Desert Night into
my documents/Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data/Maps not more

out of three maps u made i could play 1
desrt night
Mountain conflict (IDK Y) is very very slow(i put everything low)
bay of pig isnt slow but it isnt fast

Bay of pigs drake did not make i gave him the map i found it on a website, its a remake of a red alert 2 map and it was made only for generals Not ZH. so drake edited a little and enabled Zh AI.

Playing other games and so on, but I'm working on a Map and a shell map version thing, but building towns is not the best thing, here have a look what I've done on the shellmap version so far

I still ask what is wrong with the current shellmap?
It is fine and can easply be updated with remix units and such witch would most likly be easier than making a complete new one and scripting it...
Also a shellmap does not influance your game in anyway, all it is is a screen with a menu on. This is not a TC mod remember, and No i not complaning just don't understand why this is needed.

Why are u telling me to relax? i asked a very simple question.
To behonest u was not asked to do it your only trying to find thing to do when your bored thats the truth :p

But hey don't get me wrong i not saying we should not have one ok, only saying whats the big deal out of it. And i still think the one we got now works fine could be updated a little but its not a big issue.

If we get a new shell map thats good and better than the one we have then fine... But drake you already said it yourself your new to mapping and new to making shell maps, so this is why i saying that would it not be easier to updated the standerd as practice before starting from scratch?
U said scripting is not your fav thing todo and we all including yourself want a decent looking mod and shellmap.

And don't take this the wrong way i mearly saying that u have said it yourself that u lack experiance in mapping and scripting and i don't want u or anyone getting soo worked up and excited about something that might not be very good in the end.
I do not doubt your intent of making a good shellmap and i do not doubt that u aim to make a good one, but i doubt your lack of skill.. this is mainly that of scripting not the mapping.

And sure i a jackass but i not gonna kiss peaple ass and say things look amazing if it does not, if the shellmap works out then fine and cool but i hope the shell map is worth it in the end.

Ok, about skill, it's learning by doing, and I think I'm getting better and better everyday in it(I'll have to edit the beginning of the shell map :p )
Scripting, ok I have the standart shell map and have a look az it, and I think I can do sth like it, even if I'm just importing some of the stuff, and mabye I can ask some people for help but I'll try on my own before doing that because most of these persons are already overworked, and just have a look at this

I am not getting at you drake mearly saying that sometimes it better to start small and work up... this is why i said why not edited or updated the one we have already before making one str8 from scratch as that would be easier and help with the learning curve would it not?
And looking at the scripting for the shellmap we already have could help aswell.

Ok, Phoenix, I'm starting to get your point, but I love the challange, and the building of the map is getting quite easy,and by looking at the script, ok, let's see, it takes time, but you just have to find the stuff fill it the right way and so on, so I think I'll manage that, it maybe time intensive, but ok, I'm quite confident that it will workout
And Pend what do you think about what you see for now?
