Hi, I am trying to beat Minus-Tirith on easy in the Elven Alliance and I keep losing! Any help would be much appreciated. :)

As soon as you think you'll lose, retreat to the second level. There, divide your main army in two, with archers on the walls, and your best guard units to guard the entrance to the upper levels. In the beginning it's easy to just keep spamming units to kill the orcs. I suggest using the Rohirrim power to beat the orcs when they don't expect it :p (that is when they are trying to get those towers at your walls). The elves are great to weaken the strongest enemies, before they can attack.

I beat it thanks Taralom and mike! :wink_new:

The Black Gate was actually incedibly easy for me. Minas Tirith was far harder.

true :umad: seen the fact that you've got all heroes and the combined forces of Gondor and Rohan :thumbsupsmiley:
but we're not going to tell him, are we Elven?

And the fact everyone was level 10 helped quite a bit. I saw soldiers take out trolls :thumbsupsmiley:

Actually it's quite easy to win, by just sending all heroes to the area behind the black gate, and letting them kill any enemy that appears on the map. If it becomes to much for your heroes to handle, you can assist them by sending your cavalry and archers to them. When the final wave approaches, you'll send all troops in for a suicide run! :umad:

How do I uninstall the mod? There is a glitch that does not allow me to see my citidal nor can I put units in it. I tried removing the TEA.big file but that still did not work.

Delete the .big file and the icon. That should do it.

Now, this is a very stupid question, I know, but I'm new here to Bfme2 and the Revora forums, and what exactly is a mod? If I'm correct, you download it and it edits Bfme2, giving it new things created by other players, such as yourself, am I correct? And if so, is there a way to switch between the mod and the normal version?

Thanks for helping out this sad noobie!

Yes you are correct right there, but there's mods for both The Battle for Middle-earth 1, The Battle for Middle-earth 2, and thus The Battle for Middle-earth 2 The Rise of the Witch-king. Of course there's a way to switch back from the mod and the normal version. You just have to have a second copy of the game. I actually would prefer the first game than the others... This mod is for The Battle for Middle-earth 1 though...

Thanks for that! You say you need a second copy of the game to switch back? :S
And awwww, I was really wanting this! I suggest someone makes a mod based on The Silmarillion! Lol.

What? You don't need a second copy. Mods like the Elven Alliance use the -mod command, which means you have two shortcuts and all you have to do is chose one of them, no messing around with files.
