do you know a program in order to see and edit wnd files ?

What is a wnd file? Do you mean W3D? yes you will need 3ds max or renx/gmax.... Go and take a look at t3a's site and read around it.

Im not sure if you can edit them really... I can only view them with finalbig.

Deezire has a wnd editor with his other Generals editing utilities here. Don't know how well it would work with bfme2 though... You could also edit them with a text editor.

ive tried Deezire's tool out for bfme2 and i cant seem to get it to work...am i just doing something wrong?

The wnd format more or less stopped after Generals. It was so heavily modified with the release of ZH that D's program no longer worked.

BFME 1 and 2's menus are in .apt format. Its a proprietary format that is laid out in flash and then exported using their own software. And don't say 'Hey, let's start a petition to get them to release it.' They won't, I've asked.

The program doesn't work with Battle for Middle Earth games.

Battle for Middle Earth 2 uses .apt files instead of .wnd files.

The program only works with Command & Conquer: Generals.
It does not work with C & C Generals: Zero Hour
