ever hear of a little game called morrowind? let's see, 12 hours a day for a month straight over 4 accounts, two PC and two Xbox. that's roughly 360 hours over 4 accounts, or roughly 90 hours an account, but i'm pretty sure that's not even cause one of my accounts on the PC was almost 130 hours of gameplay being a level 56 or something with full daedric including all of the daedric helms and any possible duplicates as well as a house full of enchanted weapons and at least two of all daedric weapons, one enchanted and one not. it's really a pity that the computer crashed and all was lost - i was pretty angry when i found out. now i'm onto the sort of sequel to morrowind, oblivion, and it's not as bad because i'm trying to have a life and jobs are sort of the bane of hardcore gamers. but at least i can i have been there done that, and not just Morrowind - theres also that game called Halo 2 on Xbox live, but that's another story for another day :D

I used to be the average World of Warcraft junkie.. played about 7 hours a day while going to school, and ALOT more during weekends. Probably about 12 hours a day in the weekends. I still play the game, but alot less. I've managed to overcome the addiction, and continue playing. :D

Didn't WoW have a patch that put in some special anti-addiction coding to stop Asian Kids from dieing because they were playing it for 48 hours?

That's for China. As for us, we all outside of the land of the Rising Sun (excluding Japan) are still able to plug away.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.
Razgriz intrerpretation

I've been playing BF2142 every chance I've had since the day I got it... 4 hours a day roughly? :)

It's worse than oblivion - I played that for about three a day.

Longest I've played a game in one go is about.. 20 hours - FF7. :p

You know your a hard core gamer when:

You are in a soccer game and you get slide tackled plus 2 other people around you collide and fall on top of
each other and your in the middle. Your instinct was to crawl like your in the army with your head down trying to get away. Even though every body else got up and your still crawling.
The instinct to crawl was from playing to much Call of Duty 2.

lol.

It seems these games need to place a warning on their boxes:

Play with moderation.

Ash, tell me, how long was your longest gaming spree? I bet I can one-up it. I played BF2: MC for an entire three-day period, without sleep, because I was suffering from BF2 withdrawl.

Okay, you win. 42's my best on FF8.

Just an addiction. Like drugs. I know the feeling, Hybrid. I played Chromehounds like that from the time it came out, until about a month later.

Then you discovered Ninety-Nine Nights.

appreciate with moderation

How the hell can you appreciate something with moderation? :p

Well put.

I delve into HL2 Deathmatch most nights to watch people throwing filing cabinets at each other. The Total War series are also rather addictive, plus replaying the FS campaign every now and then to relive those relic moments. :p

Nah. Hell, I'd even get bored of RS if played it continuously for that long!

Oblivion and (rather sadly) the Sims are incredible time-suckers too.

I rarely play games that long.. I'd get bored too. The longest was probably something like FFX (or an FPS or RPG on the PC), we (me and my little brother) sat in the living room the entire day save it for sleep and eating etc (you can do other things on the PC, but on PS2 you can only play games :p). There is nothing like playing a good game with a resolution of your own wall (we hung up a sheet and used the beamer from dads work). It makes it so much more awesome like you're actually in the game (or film for that matter). It's too bad we can do it rarely :).

:) These drink propagandas must have a message to ask moderation when drinking their products, so they put this kind of thing. They actually don't want people to drink with moderation, because they'll reduce their sales. So, they put this kind of thing :p

It's like, drink it... like it... but do not exagerate.
