Anyone here bothered enough to go read it when it comes out? My thoughts are it may add alot to the story line. But if that was the case I'd assume it won't be released till after the game.

I'd agree with you on that, though even if it doesn't add to the storyline, it might still be good.

I think I'll focus on the game rather than the book. But if it's told to be really good, who knows if I can resist? :p

I like reading so if people say it's good I'll probably read it sometime (*adds book to list-of-books-still-waiting-to-be-read*). It's only 9 euros so not that much.

Yeah, it doesn't seem to cost that much, then again, that was the price on the Del Rey site, so it probably won't be the retail price. If that is the actual price, $7.99 is about £5 here, so not that much trouble.

I haven't read it (yet) but you're probably right. 8 dollars, 5 pounds is 7.50 euros.. we pay 9 euros (at bol.com so far, it'll be out somewhere in march 2007). Bastards :p j/k.

Then again, I only guess currency conversions most of the time, all I know is you get more euros and dollars for a pound, and on average €1 is about £0.60 or £0.70

It would be kinda cool if it shipped with the game. Something that totally set up a background, so you play when you can and read in other times. So a new user can totally get immersed in the environment so to speak.

Yeah that'd be cool. It'd probably raise the price of the game though. But I like the thought.

Maybe they'll do a special fan package... I wouldn't bet on it though.

Yeah, or a 'collector's edition' that automatically comes with the book and a couple extra things. It would gain a couple extra bucks for them, so they'd probably do something like that.

I would get it that way if it was released like that. I love having Limited Edition stuff.

There's actually a good chance they might, there's a collectors edition of BfME 2 after all.

I'm definitly thinking choice number 2 is the one people pick when they don't want to choose "no" becasue they are affraid it'd make people feel bad.

Maybe, but I guess because I chose #2 was I only care as much as others. If the book is good, I'd rather find out by people who told me it's good.

There are too many books out there to care about ONE book.

But if it's good, I'll do it...

In my experience, games don't make good books. I still might pick it up mind if I ever find the time to read it.

Seems the book was a premature leak...
