i know there will be a large TLT update when he gets back!!! ^_^

I like playing at Helms Deep I think it is really fun but when Isengrard came i was thinking that i was going to die there but they didn't kill me I killed them because when reinforcements came it was all horses and if they had any pikes i would just us Gandlf's powers to kill them and so it was fun playing there. It is my favorite map in bfme 2 and bfme 2 ROTWK and so that bad news is that I never won evil campain. That is not good not very good at all. :p :p :p :xcahik_:

Hello.
I would find it better if you would add some more Elves to the reinforcements
in Helm's Deep. I think four battailons are not enough. In the film, Haldir arrives with
400 men(OK, you can't give the player 400 Elves).

Maybe, you can delete the "Build Elvenwarrior" function of the Archery Range and give
the player more Elves instead.

This is certainly worth considering, seeing as I want to remove the Elves from the Rohan Archery Range anyway. A very good idea! Thanks for suggesting it!

on that note as its now 2nd beta and this was ages ago u said this i believe legolas should still be creatable from the rohirrium citadel cos we all want aragorn legolas and gimli!!!

It would be weird having lego on more then one faction, and he is an elf after all....

I don't want the Three Hunters all in one faction. I like how Legolas has been moved. It makes sense to have him and his father (not to mention his people) in the one faction.

i agree with Olorin here. If Aragorn would be moved to Gondor i'd like it the best. Every faction has one of the Three hunters that way. But the problem is... Gondor would be overpowered with Gandalf and Aragorn.

i dont suppose you could knock up thepop cap and send like 60 Galahadrim warriors to helms deep give thousands of uruks and pikes and 3 more ladders - 1 mine + more crossbow men lots of rohhirim peasants ready armed and ready to die?

poor gimli, all alone with a bunch of horse loving hippies *sniff*

yeah that idea is good though all have one hunter ^.^

but lego may be prince of mirkwood but hes more of a rougue isnt he? and those 3 stuck together through thick and thin but it is a good idea 1 of each good faction. and what the hell is smea'gul doing as part of the mordor faction??? get rid of him and add him to gondor cos hes with the hobbitsis isnt he!!!!!!!??!!???!

Gollum is evil ;)

Helm's Deep already has loads more enemies, and Cel was considering adding more Galadrim to the reinforcements (but you wouldn't be able to build anymore from the archery range).

but gollum is an enemy of mordor too he doesnt work for them he eats orcs using the ring to stealth himself befor bilbo got it and he was a (although he was corrupted) hobbit. poor smea'gul *sniff* to be corrupted so suddenly for no reason and killing his best friend and since hes with frodo and sam and he turned good and expelled his second mind until farimir ruined it for him he still works with the hobbits for crying out loud he lead them to mordor to destroy the ring and mordor dont want that so why is he working for mordor???

OK, put it this way: the One Ring ensnared Smeagol, so Smeagol became the 'servant' of the Ring, so to speak. So who's to say that Sauron would've recovered the Ring, his ring, and make Smeagol, who would do anything for it (such as kill his friend Deagol), do whatever he wants, thus making him a servant of Mordor? It was quite possible, if you think about it. :)
Another way of looking at it is this: all who either serve Sauron or the Ring belong in the Mordor faction. Fair, no?

i agree with Olorin here. If Aragorn would be moved to Gondor i'd like it the best. Every faction has one of the Three hunters that way. But the problem is... Gondor would be overpowered with Gandalf and Aragorn.
(only speaking of Heroes)

Celeglin was working on a way to move Aragorn to Gondor in TLT, and subsequently add one or two more heroes to Rohan in replacement. So we'll both have our wish soon enough. ;)

If you all read the books, it says that Gollum went to Mordor and was caught and tortured. He yelled "Shire! Baggins!" After that they let him go, but they knew what he would do. Try to find the ring. They probably counted on him bringing it back if recovered it. Something like that anyways. Anyhow Gollum was evil so he belongs with the evil faction.

And The Three hunters Belong Together too. Lothlorien has more than enough heroes on their side.

But the Elves are balanced like that: they're pretty crappy early-game, then because of their strength in heroes and their elite units, they dominate in the late game. Either way, Celeglin has decided to split the Three Hunters, and it's his mod. :p

*cough*
Actually, Elves have an amazing early game.... If used right, the scouts will dominate the field.
Except if Isen rushes. Otherwise, no one stands a chance agiasnt me. I beat Rob38 3 times in a row after the tournment....we agreed elves were a little op

OK, 'unless you use that strategy, elves are pretty crappy in the early game', how about that?

Shhhhhh  You were never supposed to mention that :) Anyway, yeah elves are op. Elves don't stand a chance though against isen in a rush. But other than that, it is nearly impossible to beat them properly. There's only one other thing I can think of that may work against them but I need to test it out with Elvenlord first :)

i stick spearmen of the heavens and scouts together and block up the entrances and focus on maximizing resource production as fast as possible cos income isnt very fast and units are expensive then i can back up my spearmen with some galahadrim archers and more scouts and make units of galahadrim to fend of outpost raiders. at the outpost i will train cavalry and/or add more resource buildings i relii hevily on hi lvl heroes late game

thats my strategy :good:

the problem is you only just survive near the start

can i suggest orchards to be faster at generating resources?

i think im a good strategist, but im not very skillful sometimes and cant put my strategy together in action very well but sometimes im great

cos ya no what. i always play against isenguard with elves, its a fun challange, with my friend always picks isen and i pick elves. and hes pretty good too. he can get rid of a fair ammount of hard enemies pretty quick. i beat him and he said that my defence was impenatrable since i kept sending my cavalry to his balistas before he knew what was going on. i think elves are great vs isenguard, even if they send an unholy ammount. with my heroes close too and all my units hi lvl + hero hi level i was rediculously invincible
i just sat back and watched mostly

^^And that is precisely one of Celeglin's elves' best assets: late game BOOM.
I'm sure you've heard this before, but from experience we can tell you that camping (or often playing defensively in general) with the elves in the early game isn't gonna end up rosy for you. You have to constantly creep and send out scout forces/raids. That can be really useful if you often put it into effect.
