i am making updates every other day at the moment, so it seems stupid making a new topic for each one, so all updates will be in this topic from now onwards,


With the easterlings, corsairs and haradrim removed from Mordor, they pretty much dont have anything.

So Battles of Gondor is going to change the feeling and stratagy of Mordor completly.

Mordor Strengths
Siege Weapons, plenty of seige weapons
Horde sizes, all hordes contain 15 - 20 units
alot of Heros
Hordes cost less command points

Mordor Weakness's
Upgrades, Morder can not get forged blades or heavy amour
Cavalry, Mordor only the nazgul for cavalry

You should be able to see from above, that Mordor are now all about numbers and not upgrades. The Minas Morgul units now act as mordors late game units to replace upgrades.

Here is where Mordors elite units are trained from (havent decided on name yet)

3rd, there is now an FAQ topic, in the questions and awnsers forum. Feel free to add ask question there, which i can add.

4th, i am going through the tech tree topics one by one, updating them, with screen shots of the units, heros and buildings. Some may of also noticed i have changed how they are presented. it takes alot of time getting the screen shots togeather, and uploading them, so im doing them one at a time. I have just finnished Evilmen. More to come soon.

I was going to save this for tomorrow, but i was not sure how much time id have, so heres anouther update which makes the 2nd in 2 days!

So tonight i present all of the dol amroth stuff.

Imrahil
the prince of dol amroth, imrahil is a mid game hero, he is best effective when he is alon side his knights.
powers = mount, horn of dol amroth, Amroth For Gondor ability, Rally

Knights of Dol Amroth
Gondors elite unit, they can cut through enemy ranks with great effect while in their wedge formation.
Powers/upgrades = Mount, forged blades, heavy armour,

Dol Amroth Galley
Only avaible to gondor, this is an elite ship, it can take 2 pasengers. The ship is armed with fire arrows and a balister.

update alert!

I have been working non stop the last few days. Ive been getting the 1st rotwk private beta version ready. Im calling it version 3.0, since its now for rotwk.

I have started with evil men again. I have gone through almost all of its units and heros, changing stats and powers and balencing out. As well as adding in some new units.

The big changes are,
New Spell Book
1 new hero
1 new building
5 new units added

The red serpent guard is now a hero horde. They are using barbed arrows, which is an upgrade they get at level 5.

New hero Uldor, best used along side easterlings

New mini hero Hâsharin, an assasin, his powers are designed for him to be used to sneak up on an enemy hero, kill him in one move, then get away as fast as possible, since his armour is weak.

Today i have some new fx powers to show, thanks to lordofdarkness.

Well lately ive been thinking about what todo with ring heros. So i now present my plan for Isengards ring hero.

It is Saruman. When you take the ring back to the fortress, you can buy "The One Ring" upgrade for him, Which costs 7000, which ontop of his own build cost, makes him 10000.

When you buy this upgrade, he gains an armour and weapon boost, a new skin and a hole new command set of devastating powers.

you cant however see how powerful these powers are, unless you see them ingame, or in this new fx trailer im releasing! It shows saruman guarding a fortress hes built on weather top.

Sarumans powers are,

Saruman Normal
1. Blast (same as normal)
2. Firball (same as normal)
3. Dominate (same as normal)
4. Give experience (same as normal)
5. The One Ring (upgrades saruman to ring hero)

Saruman ring hero
1. Istari Light (much bigger and more powerul then gandalfs)
2. Thunder Bolt (same as normal)
3. Force Shield ( a portective red shield makes Saruman invunrable for a shot time)
4. The Power of the Ring (sends out a mighty red wave, killing all in its path, best used agasint buildings)
5. Lightning storm (Saruman summons a lightning storm, in which he collects its power, then wields it on any thing around him, best used agasint buildings)

Despite the fact that I hate bfme2, I'm pretty sure I'll try this out once released :)

the next update has been released.

Yep the next updat is finaly here, i ment todo this a couple of days ago, but i ran into alot of problems, but i finaly release it.

Today im showing most of Gondors stuff which i have not alread shown. Im also about to update the Gondor Tech tree, since its quite out of date.

Here is pippin, and gandalf, who are both available for Gondor.

Faramir
Not much diferent here. Except that his Experience power, has been replace with a heavy armour upgrade.

Boromir
Has a heavy armour upgrade and the last stand power.

Pippin
Pippin like in bfme1, acts as a early scout hero. He can be upgraded to "Guard of the Citidal" which gives him an armour boost.

Beregond
Powers = Loyalty (gains exsperience faster), Inspiration (gives him increased damage, speed and armour for a short amount of time), Encouraging words (makes all units near him resistant to fear).

Denethor
Powers = A Leader of Men (gives the citidal guard a armour, weapon and experience boost), Palantir vision (reveals the selected area of the map), Summon the Citadel Guard (summons 3 hordes of citadel guards).

Anborn
Powers = Toggle Weapon, Slam Shot, Leadership Summon Rangers.

Duinhir
Powers = Toggle Weapon, Train Archers, Arrow Volley, Leadership, for the white city (Pernemently increases his armour and attack).

Easterling Axemen
The Easterling Axemen are a horde of 3, they are a beserker horde, they are best to lead a charge, and rip through the enemy ranks. They are now A hero horde for evil men. The Easterling Pikemen have not been removed. The easterling warriors are now the anti cavalry unit.

Citadel Guard
Now the 2nd hero horde for Gondor, the citadel guard are an awsome unit. They can toggle bettween bow and sword, and also chage formation from wedge to line. Each formation has an advantage.
