Well here is some videos on you tube I thought you might find interesting.

Here is a video featruing some cutsceens from earlier 40k Games such as Epic mixed in with a little DoW and Fire Warrior.



Well I don't know if your are too big of fans og DoW but here is a music video useing a song from Atargratis, Angels Crying. I thought it was good.



and I don't speak German either but here is an amature movie project by some fans in geremany trying to make a movie based off the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Looks cool.

The first vid has most of the scenes taken from "Epic 40,000 Final Liberation"

Second one's intro is taken from Final Liberation, or "Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Gate"

I'm not sure about the third one, possable sceans(the CGI ones) from the canceled film "BloodQuest"

you know... ive got final liberation.. but sadly.. it wont run with videos enabled...

the last one is all from a unofficial german fan movie project called Damnatus.. known about it for ages...

That bloodquest trailer was seriously lame.. if they want to make a good movie, they must have live actors. Square are the only people who can make realistic looking people... unfortunately, they suck at writing these things called 'plots'...

the remake was interesting only problem is that DOW is highly inaccurate to GW fluff. Cultists were not seen in the Civil war. Only The word bearers and the Alpha legion had them. Cultists are humans that worship the Chaos gods, they arnt meant for war. so those shouldnt have been in the video. Aside from that the video looked pretty good.

Thats why I like Daminatus. The Germans are useing actual Actors and with the germanic language it definatly captures the Gothic theme of Warhammer 40,000. Unfortunatly I don't know where and when to get it.

Not for a profit atleast. I think they were tryingto work out a deal negoating with the GW section in Germany ot where they can produce and distribute the move by some "free means"such as internet downloads or sell only to cover the production cost and nothing more. However where it stands now unfortunatly I do not know.

There should be a Warhammer movie or television series of some sort. With all the background that there is there should be a few interesting stories to act out.

Agreed. The game is excellent, well balance and fun. It perfectly captures the sort of carnage that you would see in a 40k battle and looks pretty damn neat too.

And yeah, there are so many characters and stories and just reams of background in 40k... There's a good oppertunity for a good film.

indeed but i still think their shouldnt be any actors in it bar voice actors and then offcourse no stong accents

Perhaps for single player gaming, for multiplayer? abosulutely not. Anyone playing 1.5 will tell you that. Every race still has lots of problems i remember when everything was perfect back in the days of Vanilla Dawn of War. Dark crusade and Winter assault have lots of balance issues. Dark Crusade has the most problems.
