ok some things I've noticed while browsing this forum, first and for-most is people taking a look at the screenshots and going, "that unit looks horrible, this games going to suck"

for 1, if you can tell what a games like without playing it I'll slap a medal on you and throw you over the niagra falls, cause it's very nearly impossible to do any such thing.

2nd reason I hate people saying that sort of thing is because marketting on this planet lives on a very simple principle, "if you don't like it, don't use it" it's not like we're forcing you to play the game, so if you don't like it then piss off and go play some game you do like, we don't want your whining here.

having said that, please realize that I'm not saying you shouldn't comment on it at all, but just saying it sucks in general does no-one any good.

I never understood why one would go to an EA forum about an EA game and bash EA. IF you don't like the game, go somewhere else right?

Oh but I'm gonna play it. I just stay rational and dont hype this game. I dont expect it to be a tripple A title, yes, but I dont expect it to be really bad either. As for the unit bashing: the mech was just ugly, has nothing to do with the final gameplay, but it looked crap and if it looks crap im not going to lie and say I like its design.

I think that's the way this forum should work. We're not the kind of EA lovers that think everything is perfect... we're modders afterall. But if we hated it we wouldn't be setting up a modding community.

actually beleive it or not I agree, the only units I like so far in the entire game are the 2 harvesters, the mammoth tank and the nod heli unit.

I honestly think they should go back to the drawing board with the consept art for every other unit.

but even with that I'm not going to say the game sucks. cause the vids make it look awsome.
