http://www.gamespot....estnews;title;2Several other new titles were unveiled during the call. "There will be another Lord of the Rings [game]... There's a new SimCity game in the pipeline and the next-generation version of Black. Those things alone are all new, relative to fiscal '07," said Jenson. It was unclear whether Jenson meant the games would arrive before the end of EA's 2007 fiscal year, or were just new to the company's financial plan for the 12-month period.
Yet another LotR game?

92% of teens have moved onto rap. If you are part of the 8% that still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature

This game could be pretty fun actually... If it's not too EAified...

Und da war dann noch der achte.
Sieben waren wild und der achte war zahm

I think it's the White Council.
As we all know.. EA loves it's publicity. Wouldn't put it past them to "announce" a game twice.I doubt very much its the white council. As that game has been in production for some time now. Its not a very new annoucement. Plus they have been working on that for over 2years now apparently.
Though we could always hope that it's that Lord of the Rings Trilogy game mentioned at the end of their brilliant Return of the King game. And no, don't tell me that trilogy game is The Third Age. I refuse to believe that that pile of crap is what I was so looking forward to.
Anyone agree that the two action games have been EA's best Lord of the Rings creations?

I really hope that there will be such a trilogy game... I've been hoping that for quite a while now though...
Would've been awesome if this was it...

Of course they could've meant BFME... But I really hope they didn't...
I'd really want another game the same style as the TTT and RotK games...

EDIT: Of course, there wouldn't be the same map and quests as Oblivion and you could join guilds like the Dwarven Figtherguild, or the Elven Assasin's guild (dunno, just something that doesn't fit ) and the possibility of helping Frodo on his quest, I don't think I would liked a main quest based on helping them... dunno
