Several other new titles were unveiled during the call. "There will be another Lord of the Rings [game]... There's a new SimCity game in the pipeline and the next-generation version of Black. Those things alone are all new, relative to fiscal '07," said Jenson. It was unclear whether Jenson meant the games would arrive before the end of EA's 2007 fiscal year, or were just new to the company's financial plan for the 12-month period.

maybe a MOVIE Fellowship of the ring game..... the Fellowship game that's out now, it's non-movied but it's pretty cool though And I wouldn't mind a BFME3 if it took back Tolkien and BFME build plot system then it would be sweet But still, if you look at the dwarves in BFME2, you can easily see Gimli... I mean, he's not EA's design....

anyways, what is your guess?

I think it's the White Council. Look on Gamespot for more info. It's the only new LOTR game I know of, and it is supposed to come out late 2007. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This game could be pretty fun actually... If it's not too EAified...

I doubt very much its the white council. As that game has been in production for some time now. Its not a very new annoucement. Plus they have been working on that for over 2years now apparently. I could be wrong though or i could be right. Who knows? only time will tell

As we all know.. EA loves it's publicity. Wouldn't put it past them to "announce" a game twice.

Though we could always hope that it's that Lord of the Rings Trilogy game mentioned at the end of their brilliant Return of the King game. And no, don't tell me that trilogy game is The Third Age. I refuse to believe that that pile of crap is what I was so looking forward to.

Anyone agree that the two action games have been EA's best Lord of the Rings creations?

you mean RotK and TTA? well, haven't played TTA, but it always looked awsome grapich wise, and RotK I just got (again) today, and I have to play 2 maps or something, to not complete it too fast I know, you can play it again and again and again, but I love it none the less BEST EA LOTR GAME!

I think that RotK is only fun to play with a friend ,, But I've never tried TTA

I really hope that there will be such a trilogy game... I've been hoping that for quite a while now though...

what exacly do you mean with a triology game? what genre? (sp?) rts, well BFME should be that or an fps? (yeah, right....) or the.... way RotK is? (dunno what it's called )

anyways, the game at the end of RotK?? I've only seen the "Game Trailer" wich is BFME....

At the end of RotK it says something about some trilogy game...

Of course they could've meant BFME... But I really hope they didn't...

I'd really want another game the same style as the TTT and RotK games...

I've always wanted (by Always, I mean since Oblivion came out) Oblivion-Like LOTR, where you can be the "good" forces, or wait... I would like to an uruk too... well anyways, where you can do everything you can in Oblivion too, only it's LOTR. There is a mod for Oblivion that's planning on this, but I doubt They'll ever finish... well, have you noticed I always have to reply?

EDIT: Of course, there wouldn't be the same map and quests as Oblivion and you could join guilds like the Dwarven Figtherguild, or the Elven Assasin's guild (dunno, just something that doesn't fit ) and the possibility of helping Frodo on his quest, I don't think I would liked a main quest based on helping them... dunno
