OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.

I blame Sony for this one. They apparently massively under delivered even on what they promised to retailers for launch. For having delayed for so long you'd think they might have their shit together, but they obviously don't. Hell, you need to patch the PS3 before you can even use it.
Its a marketing stratergy, in reality there are proberly thousands of boxes sitting around on container ships or in warehouses across the world.
Supply and demand, you manipulate the public and build up the atmosphere so everyone wants one of these rare items.

I also, to an extent blame the ridiculous uber-commercialisation and pristine image of the "perfect Christmas holiday" that's taking over in the US and the UK. You wouldn't see behaviour like that anywhere else in the world.

That's because everyone else is too poor to get one

A "PATCH", what the hell do you need a patch for.

Oh climb out of your ass and look around. Consoles in Japan sold out on day one with none of this crap, and when they hit mainland Europe it'll be the same as Japan. There are people everywhere that can afford them, but ironically the single country with the largest percentage of the population with the harshest economic divide just happens to be the US, where the largest amount of people that are "too poor to get one" but otherwise could just happen to live.

Everything they fucked up before they released it and didn't fix of course. My guess is internet security, someone will have written something to kill the machine already.

Quite frankly, I hope the PS3 bombs. The launch titles are pale, there are problems with the back compatibility (ie, the other decent games you can play on it) and it's a stupid price for what it is. Not only that, but they decide to screw over Europe by denying them any ability to get the console, what a way to treat your market.
Unfortunately, all the fanboys will buy it in it's horders and they'll get another chance to screw it up when the PS4 is released. Bugger.

My friends own them but rarely play them. They come to my house for PS2 games. But I can say this. I'd rather buy and Xbox 360 and Wii instead of a PS3. It 600 dollars for a worth while system and you need a certain type of TV to use it correctly. And as the Sony reps call it. "the PS3 is a multi-media computer" I ALREADY OWN A COMPUTER. I don't go buy consoles so they can be faux computers. I buy consoles to play games while I install them on my computer. PS3 is a disgrace and an outrage.

I play more on the PC then the 360 so it is collecting dust a little, but also I have more then a game life I do have to work and pay bills and I like hanging with friends. So if I am going to buy the PS3 there has to be over 100 games out frist then the ones for the 360.

Gears of War.Yeah like most of us want to get the 360, well I did and to tell you the truth I wish I didn't because there are not that many good games right now. I have Madden 07,Dead or Alive 4, Dead Raising and, Quake 4.
