I'm signing up on 2plays team! j\k xD
anyways, of course I like the fighting scenes better, but if TTT had just a very few minutes in Helms deep, and instead threw in the end of the TTT book, aka the RotK movie, it would be abit boring... I think, can't know... I like the fighting in many movies, and especially LotR, and Star Wars, but if it was a fighting only movie, and there would've been no talking, or little, it would be better to see a movie there they just talk....
Also, I've never heard about LotR before the first one came to the cinema... I waited till the last week untill I watched it, and me and my friend was like "Wtf, that was the crappiest end I ever saw..." no knowing that it was a triology... And after TTT came out, I bough the big book, and read it. It was my best, and only, read. exept the hobbit after... Cause I'm not into books. I don't like reading books, when I can just see the movie. And as you said yourself zimoo, you didn't read the book, UNTILL resently.. so does that mean you where part under a rock? j\k
anyways, I congratulate you if you understood what I wrote, and I think that you also know now that I'm in love with both the movie, and the book. There are many smal parts in the books that didn't make it into the movie, and they were rather intressing. Like the woodpeople people that let Rohan pass through their wood.
When I read the RotK part in the book, before the movie, I was so exited, and when the movie came out, I enjoyed the battles the most, because their sooooo awesome in LotR.....
And, that was MY opinion.... go PJ!
Peter Jackson will not make the hobbit

Hmm... I really would've wanted Peter Jackson to do this movie... Since, I personally think he did a very good job with the movies.

I read the books before I knew there even were movies... I mean, I had heard of them, but I was 10. They were some movies that my parents would never let me see. By the way, what kind of Ten Year old reads LOTR
