uhm, I think, AND HOPE, that he means that the hobbit is comming as a movie...What the...?Best news I've heard in a long time, thanks 2play
other than that, SUX BIG T
it will not be the same, hell, I even doubt that the actors that aren't money lover will make it.... like gandy, he likes the books, right? and he's a good friend of PJ, and I doubt, and hope, that they will have to find new actors, for all the characters.... only, they don't do a BFME2, and mess something up to much.... no, nothing offencive
anyways, I'll end up in the cinema, and I'll see it, and other than the fact that LOTR is one of the best movies I've ever seen, and that the man that made it possible won't make it, I darn hope it's a good one... but, I hope that they won't find a new producer, so PJ get's to make it... and I totally agree with Hostile
I've seen some movies that's been done like this, but can't remember what....
well, what the heck, the movie is sure as hell going to be a must!
duh...
EDIT: or, I don't care if it's the same actors or not, really, I just want it to be PJ

He doesn't really consider PJ his best friend, if you get my meaning. Reason? Straying too much from the books in the movies.
Personally, I'd prefer continuity, both in actors and director.

saying that this is good is like saying good when the tax rates for poor people are increased, but you don't care since you're not poor anyway
no offence, btw

No offence to anyone, but if you hadn't heard of LOTR before the movies came out you must have been living under a rock (or too young to know about them). None of my family are avid Tolkien fans(except me), but LOTR came up quite a lot in daily conversation, and I knew about it long before the films came out (although I didn't read it until recently)

I don't recall ever complaining anyway
yeah complaining might have been the wrong word, sorry
but again that's just personal test.
true, we will always need to remember that in these kinds of discussions
whereas others might just like lots of fight scenes.
you make it sound like the movies are fighting-only

in my case that would be a bit of the latter and a bit that i don't live in an english-speaking country
